"Alright, how are we drawing lots?" The others all looked at Shi Li.
"You all decide on a number between one and three. Then I'll call out a number, and whoever it matches, that's who it is."
"But there's one condition: I have to check on Heige first." For some reason, seeing Heige return to his room so quietly gave Shi Li a sense of dread.
It was as if she might never see him again if she didn't hurry and check on him right now.
Before the others could even nod, Shi Li had pushed back her chair and was at Heige's door.
Thankfully, he hadn't locked it from the inside.
Just like with Jensen before, the room was pitch-black. It was already evening, but Heige hadn't turned on the lights.
He was just curled up in a corner of the bed, and Shi Li could faintly smell the scent of blood.
"What are you doing?!" Shi Li suddenly realized something and hurriedly flipped on the lights. The sight that greeted her was one of Heige's ears, a piece of which he had cut off himself.
