Shi Wei and Xun Yu said their goodbyes to Su Yu, then each led their cubs into the forest to start hunting.
Yujing glanced at the Wild Beasts scattering through the forest, then leaned in and gave Su Yu a kiss. "I'm going to hunt a few Wild Beasts," he said. "We need to stock up on food for the winter."
Su Yu nodded. "Go on."
Yujing picked a direction and headed into the forest.
Only Huai Xu, Ren Qing, and Qi Bai remained by Su Yu's side.
Qi Bai found a small grove that had already been cleared out by a Southern Beast City hunting party and leisurely led Su Yu on a stroll.
Bai Wan, who was also out for some fresh air, spotted Su Yu and waved. "Yu Yu! You're out, too."
"Yes, it was getting too stuffy staying at home," Su Yu said with a smile.
"I was feeling cooped up, too. Do you want to come down? We can pick some shroomies together." Bai Wan walked toward her, stopping a couple of feet away. She held up a dusty gray mushroom as she asked.
'Shroomies?'
