However, Su Yu hadn't forgotten. The unidentified female currently inhabiting Ren Qing's body had been sent by the Western Beast God Evil Thought to kill her.
This was proof enough that 'she' wasn't as 'friendly' toward the Beastmen as she appeared. 'Or maybe... the Western Beast God Evil Thought is plotting something in secret?'
Thinking of Atro, who was possessing Ren Qing, Su Yu found it strange. Logically, Ren Qing should have been able to force her out after his bloodline underwent atavistic regression. Yet no matter what methods he tried, he still couldn't expel Atro from his body; he could only suppress her a little more.
Now that Shengqing was awake, and the eagle chick was due to hatch in two days, it was time to put the journey to the Beast God Hall ruins on the agenda.
Su Yu's mind was in turmoil, but she didn't let any of it show on her face.
