Shi Wei was quick to react. He instantly blasted a small Fireball at the strange vines.
Shi Yu pounced as well, severing the vines with his sharp claws.
The vines fell to the ground, writhing and twitching as if alive.
Shi Yu looked disgusted. "Ugh! What is this stuff!"
Startled, Xun Yu rushed over to check on Ao Tian and Ao Yue.
The two cubs stared blankly at their Father, thinking he was playing hide-and-seek with them, and flashed him bright smiles.
Su Shiyi, however, had all his feathers puffed up, warily scanning the surroundings. Though his body was tiny, he still mustered the courage to shield his two older sisters.
Seeing that the cubs were unharmed, Xun Yu breathed a sigh of relief and asked, "What is this stuff?"
Shi Wei picked up a twisted vine, glancing at it before looking toward the constantly rumbling treant in the distance. He said gravely, "This must be an attack from the Western Beast God Evil Thought."
