Three years ago, after the Black Knight surrendered and the War was declared over, he didn't go around gathering resources like Angel's Servant Demon. Instead, he found a place to hole up and conduct his research.
He had three research projects: Star Mage, Star Knight, and the goblin physical modification ritual.
The first was a task from Isaac. He was primarily responsible for collecting basic data and conducting some preliminary studies to prepare for Isaac's research. The latter two were his own projects.
Strictly speaking, the last two could actually be considered a single project: the goblin modification ritual.
Soron had always believed that goblins had great potential. Though they were ugly and weak, they... still had great potential!
After all, he was one of them, wasn't he?
