Ivy Holden had secured a five-million-dollar investment over a single meal with Zachary Thorne. Feeling completely satisfied, she pulled June Grant out of the hotel and whispered, "I know school's starting soon, but those classes at the Conservatory are no big deal for you. What do you say? Want to make some money together?"
June Grant shook her head and sighed. "Who doesn't want to make money? But I don't have millions to invest! Your venture is on a whole other level, Miss Holden. I wouldn't even dare to dream of it."
Ivy Holden laughed. "You can work for a stake in the company. In any venture, you need people to put up the money, and some people to put in the work."
"Someone like me? I don't have the looks or the body, I can't sing or dance... and you want me to *sell myself*?"
"Cut the crap! Are you in or out? Yes or no."
"I'm in! Only a fool would say no."
