"Wow! This is the first piece of high-quality jade we've seen since the exhibition opened!"
"It's old-mine, glass-type! Look at that color, that size! This is the kind of thing money can't buy! If it were carved into an ornament, it'd be worth at least ten million!"
"That's Mr. Summers of The Jade Pavilion for you! What a keen eye!"
"A truly keen eye!"
Amid the chorus of praise, Leon Summers jutted his chin at Ivy Holden. "So, little girl, are you still going to cut that rock of yours?"
"What a question. After all this, do I have any other choice?" Ivy Holden said with a grand wave of her hand. "Cut it!"
"Ma'am, how would you like this stone cut?" The craftsman was a little hesitant, as Ivy Holden hadn't shown any intention of drawing lines on it.
Ivy Holden thought for a moment. "Hmm... Sir, how about you just grind away the outer layer? It'll be a lot of work, I know, but you can show off your skills."
"But... that will take a very long time."
