"How about this? I'll give him a call," Desmond Draper said, pulling out his phone. "Let's see if he's trying to welsh on his promise, or if he's just too proud to come to Faelan and apologize." He dialed Leon Summers directly and put the call on speaker.
The phone rang and rang, but no one answered. It continued until the call automatically disconnected.
"What's the meaning of this?" Mr. Winters said, a hint of displeasure in his voice. "Draper, call him again."
Desmond Draper hit redial.
This time, the phone rang twice before the other party hung up. An automated voice followed: "The number you have dialed is busy. Please try again later."
"Alright, let's set this matter aside for now. I'll figure something out about the White Jade Raw Stone. Let's discuss the other designs. If anything needs adjustments, we can talk it over directly while Jensen is here. If there are no other issues, I think we can select the materials and get started."
"Okay." Everyone agreed.
