"Me? I haven't thought about it." Jensen Morrison led Ivy Holden into the hotel's executive lounge.
The two of them sat down at the bar. Jensen tapped the counter and said to the bartender, "Two club sodas."
"We're not allowed out this afternoon, so can't we have a drink?" Ivy pouted.
"No." Jensen refused flatly. "Do you know who just called me?"
"Who? Don't tell me there's been another development with Leon Summers?"
"No. A friend of my family, an influential man, heard I was in Draconia and wants me to come to his house for dinner. You're coming with me."
"Huh? Why?" Ivy had absolutely no desire to get mixed up in these things.
"This Uncle Ellison is a very important figure. It'll only do you good to meet him; there's no downside."
"But I really don't want to have dinner with elders. I barely even go back to see my own grandfather..."
