Milo Halloway laid out all the details of his dealings with Leon Summers. After Ivy Holden recorded their conversation and saved the file, the one-hundred-million-dollar check was in Milo Halloway's hands.
"Write me an IOU," Ivy Holden said, pushing her personal notebook in front of Milo Halloway. "Pay me back in six months, interest-free. But if you can't repay the money by then..."
"I'll definitely be able to pay it back! I'll use my shares in Seaview Group as collateral," Milo Halloway said excitedly.
"That works. I'll have my people contact you to handle the details." Ivy Holden wasn't worried about Milo Halloway backing out. The one-hundred-million-dollar check was a cashier's check, and the funds wouldn't be transferred to his account until all the paperwork was finalized.
