The slightest sound or movement would attract these zombies, causing them to slowly shamble over. Even the sound of thunder could stir them.
That was why zombies often ended up wandering near Survivor Bases.
Lu Feng arrived at the entrance of Zhuangyuan District. He glanced at the few freshly killed zombies, then surveyed the base's perimeter. He turned to Lin Jiao and ordered, "Lin Jiao, I want you to dig a trench around the district, leaving only a single path for access. That way, any zombies that show up will fall right in."
"Oh, and have some people scout the surrounding areas. Find out if there are any large concentrations of zombies. If you find a horde, notify me. Try to clear out the immediate vicinity to expand our safe zone."
