Auspicious for travel, breaking ground, meeting friends, and new ventures.
To avoid unwanted attention, the internal competition was arranged in the inner institute's training grounds. Aside from a few elders from the Xingyun Sect who had come to watch, the only attendees were the inner institute disciples, instructors, and elders from the three sects.
In the center of the training grounds were four rectangular areas paved with dark gray bricks. Each was ten zhang long and six zhang wide, the same size as the arenas used for the Martial Arts Assembly.
The disciples sat on the ground, with the three sects occupying the eastern, western, and southern edges of the field. The elders and instructors, meanwhile, were seated on the viewing platform to the north.
