Lianne ached all over. Her bright, glistening eyes gazed up at him, but she didn't push him away.
She reached out, wrapping her arms around his neck, and with a strength that came from nowhere, pulled him down toward her.
Seth Sinclair quickly planted a hand on the bed, supporting most of his weight to avoid crushing her.
"I'm so sleepy," Lianne murmured, yawning. "Stay and sleep with me."
She had stayed with him while he slept so many times. It was his turn to stay with her.
He'd been relentless with her last night, and now she was exhausted and weary, with no desire to get out of bed.
Seth Sinclair slid an arm around her waist, pulling her into his embrace and patting her back soothingly.
"Go to sleep."
Once Lianne's breathing evened out and she drifted off to sleep, he held her tighter, inhaling the faint fragrance of her hair as he closed his eyes.
They slept until noon.
