When Yasmine Kimball saw the two of them enter, she immediately put on a beaming smile, rising to take Rosalind Lowell's arm. "Rosalind, you're back."
Rosalind Lowell nodded, looking a little reserved.
She was a bit standoffish, likely because Yasmine had hit her before.
"Rosalind, I was impulsive and lost my composure last time. You aren't angry with me, are you?"
Rosalind Lowell glanced at Alaric Davenport. He said nothing, simply walking over to his seat and sitting down. He then looked back at her. "Sit."
Rosalind Lowell nodded and looked at Yasmine Kimball. "It's fine."
Yasmine Kimball patted her arm. "As long as you're not angry, that's all that matters. Come on, sit down and eat."
Rosalind Lowell nodded and sat beside Alaric Davenport, meeting Dexter Davenport's kind and amiable face. "Our daughter-in-law is just wonderful," he said. "The more I look at her, the more I like her."
