"Take off your clothes and lie down here comfortably," Dan said in his usual calm voice, gesturing toward the bed in the middle of the room. "The process will take several hours, and you will feel some pain and heat in your body, but do not worry; this is entirely normal, and I will be with you the whole time." Rin lay on her back quietly, naked as Dan requested, because the seal required direct access to every part of the body. She closed her eyes and tried to relax, breathing deeply and rhythmically.
Dan began his work with deep focus. He closed his eyes for a moment to concentrate on his energy, then opened them as very fine threads of blue chakra began to emerge from his hands. These threads moved toward Rin's body and wrapped around her; they were incredibly thin but distinct, glowing with a soft blue light. They began to seep under her skin with extreme care, and Dan directed them with absolute precision toward the bones first, reaching the old seals of the first version that he had applied years ago. He had to expand those existing bone seals and link them to new seals he would carve into the muscles—a complex process requiring very precise control and a deep knowledge of human anatomy and chakra pathways.
Dan continued to work in total silence and complete concentration, hour after hour. Rin lay peacefully unconscious and did not move at all, as Dan had rendered her unconscious so she would not have any involuntary reactions that might disrupt the delicate operation. Despite this, her body still felt the strain; her muscles occasionally spasmed in response to the burning sensation spreading through her entire muscular system. He continued carving the new seals into her muscles with painstaking care—in her arms, legs, back, abdomen, and chest. In every single muscle of her body, the seals were formed slowly and with perfect accuracy beneath her skin, remaining invisible from the outside.
After finishing the carving of all the muscle seals, the next crucial step arrived: linking the new seals to the old ones located in the bones. He achieved this by creating minute chakra channels that connected the two systems together in a harmonious and integrated manner. Then came the final and very important step: closing the chakra leakage from the body. Every ordinary human constantly loses small amounts of chakra that leak out of their body; this leakage reduces overall efficiency and leaves less chakra available for use. However, with this enhanced seal, Dan created a very thin layer of small, interconnected seals just beneath the skin across the entire body. This layer acted as an invisible barrier that prevented chakra from leaking out, instead converting it into healing chakra that strengthened the muscles. This sealing of chakra leakage also provided a massive advantage: it would become extremely difficult for others to sense the person's presence via their chakra, as if it had been completely turned off.
After about eight full hours of focused, non-stop, precise work, Dan finally finished applying the seal to Rin with complete success. He slowly withdrew the chakra threads, and Rin opened her eyes with obvious exhaustion but great happiness. "How do you feel?" Dan asked quietly, looking at her carefully to check for any signs of potential problems. "I feel... as if my body has become a furnace of immense vitality," Rin said in a slightly tired voice full of wonder and joy. "It is as if every cell in my body is pulsing with energy, and I feel a pleasant heat spreading through all my muscles." Dan smiled a faint, satisfied smile. "Very good. This means the seal is working correctly. Now, stand up slowly and try to move a little, but do not exert yourself too much today; your body needs time to adapt to the changes."
Rin stood up slowly and cautiously, put on her clothes, and felt a very clear difference in her body. She felt much lighter and far more energetic than she had hours before, which made her incredibly happy and excited. She threw herself into Dan's arms to thank him in her own way and express her gratitude and love. About an hour after waking up, Rin left the laboratory with a wide smile. The rest of the wives and daughters were waiting with anxiety and curiosity, and when they saw her coming out happy and in good health, they were greatly relieved, and their excitement for their own turns increased.
The next day, it was Kali's turn. She entered the lab with confidence and enthusiasm, and Dan applied the same process to her with the same precision and care. The operation also took eight hours, and she emerged with the same happiness and satisfaction. On the third day it was Heina, then on the fourth day Nanami, then on the fifth day Aoi, then on the sixth day Yuna, then on the seventh day Shizuka, then on the eighth day Mio, then on the ninth day Megumi, then on the tenth day Naomi, then on the eleventh day Kyoko, and finally on the twelfth day, Nina. Each one entered the laboratory on her scheduled day with excitement and anticipation, and emerged hours later happy and elated by the new vitality they felt.
Dan continued in this same disciplined pattern, day after day, wife after wife. The process became slightly easier with each repetition because he gained more experience and mastered the technique further, and all of them passed through the operation with total success without any problems or complications. After twelve consecutive days of intensive, continuous work, he finished applying the Vitality Seal: Second Tier to all twelve of his wives with complete success. All of them now possessed an expected lifespan of over three hundred years, along with stronger and better physical capabilities. Dan felt a deep sense of satisfaction and pride; he had succeeded in improving his wives and extending their lives immensely. This meant he would not lose them soon to old age, and he would have companions for many centuries to come.
