Chapter 115 - Chapter 115: Absolute Death

A suffocating, deathly silence descended upon the opulent royal hall—a silence heavier than lead and colder than ice. The three Uchiha figures suddenly felt as though they were standing before the maw of a gargantuan, lethal serpent, a predator coiled and ready to strike with fatal precision at any moment.

Their primal instincts for survival screamed in the face of the looming danger. The Second Elder, a battle-hardened veteran, felt the cold touch of certain death; he was convinced that his end was inevitable and inescapable. He found himself unable to move a single muscle, paralyzed by instinctive terror. Even the act of breathing felt like a perilous gamble that might trigger his immediate execution. A deep, frantic voice within him whispered: Am I even permitted to breathe? Will I be killed instantly if I do? Should I ask for permission first?

A complex torrent of conflicting senses and contradictory emotions surged through the three men as they stared with terrified eyes at the young man standing calmly before them. Sato's expression had turned utterly cold, a radical departure from the welcoming, diplomatic smile he had worn moments prior. In those sky-blue eyes, now void of all emotion, they saw only one thing: death. Absolute, final, and certain death. There was no room for resistance, no hope for survival, and no possibility of flight.

Sato, for his part, was calculating with a cold, strategic mind. He weighed every available option with surgical precision. He pondered deeply: Is it truly worth killing these three? What are the potential consequences? What are the benefits versus the damages?

He recalled a fundamental rule taught by his father regarding enemies and threats: If there is no clear path to neutralizing an opponent's hostility through peaceful or diplomatic means, and military force becomes a necessity, then one must strike with lightning speed and overwhelming power. One must launch a preemptive blow so crushing and irresistible that the enemy is subjugated before they can even prepare. There is no room for hesitation, no place for excessive mercy, and no opportunity to give the enemy a second chance. Strike first, strike hard, and strike with finality.

Sato weighed the cost of escalating the confrontation. He knew that killing them would mean dealing directly with the entire Uchiha Clan, not just these individuals. He would be forced to teach them a bloody, violent lesson they would never forget.

In truth, if his father had not explicitly commanded them to exercise restraint if they ever encountered the Uchiha or Senju clans, Sato might have acted differently. His father had mentioned an old debt owed to the ancestors of these two clans—a debt he did not explain in detail but asked his children to respect. Furthermore, Sato possessed secret knowledge regarding the distant future of these clans, shared with him by his father.

Had it not been for these reasons, Sato's cold nature and his intense dislike for the Uchiha's lack of discipline and emotional instability would have led him to wipe them out without a shred of mercy. He found their impulsive, uncalculated behavior loathsome. He could have easily dispatched one of his siblings to erase them from existence—or perhaps done it himself, as his personal power had already ascended to the level of a peak super kage.

At that exact moment, while Sato exerted his crushing pressure, the young Uchiha youth standing behind the elders managed to move slightly. Despite his visible terror, he shouted with a defiant, loud voice:

"Haaah! No! I won't let you conquer or humiliate me so easily! I am Hiroshi Uchiha! Heir to the Great Clan! I will never bow my head to anyone, no matter who they are! Never!"

Sato looked at him with a glimmer of genuine surprise. He had not expected someone so young to be able to move under the weight of his overwhelming intent. Such impressive willpower, he admitted silently.

After a brief moment of reflection, he understood the youth's identity. It was exactly as his father had described the madness of this family's pride. This was the son of the current Patriarch, the expected heir, and the one carrying the highest pride in the entire clan.

Suddenly, a loud, booming, and joyful laughter shattered the deathly tension in the hall.

"Hahahaha! Yes! Yes, exactly! Hahahaha!"

The laughter was powerful and enthusiastic, filled with clear admiration.

"I like you very much, brave lad! Hahaha! Yes! I truly love the fierce, defiant look in your eyes!"

Leon spoke loudly, his voice brimming with genuine happiness as he pointed excitedly toward Hiroshi Uchiha. Leon, the eldest brother and a warrior who lived for battle and challenge, looked at Hiroshi as if he had discovered a rare and fascinating treasure. He laughed again, his eyes gleaming with excitement: "Hahaha! Yes! I've never seen a look like that before! A gaze that knows no fear! I love it!"

Sato glanced at his boisterous elder brother and sighed quietly. This battle-mad brother of mine... Yet, he realized this was perhaps for the best. It provided a way to de-escalate the situation and prevent further development toward war.

Sato slowly withdrew his immense pressure, and air seemed to flow back into the hall. The three Uchiha breathed deeply, like men surfacing after a long drowning. Sato looked at them calmly and said coldly:

"Know this well: no one threatens the Kingdom of the Blue Dragon within its royal palace and leaves in peace without consequences. This time, I shall consider it a misunderstanding born of youthful zeal."

He looked directly into the eyes of the Second Elder. "But next time... there will be no tolerance."
