The sound of blades crashing echoed violently across the battlefield . metal against metal, sparks bursting into the air with every strike.
"What's wrong, kid?! Is this all the strength you have?! Hahahaha!"
A powerful warrior from the Lone Wolves Squad shouted in a mocking, provoking tone, his laughter filled with excitement as he clashed head on with Hiroshi Uchiha the young, newly appointed Patriarch of the Uchiha Clan. His attacks came fast and heavy, pushing forward without pause, applying constant pressure with every swing.
"You bastard! Don't get ahead of yourself! Haaah!"
Hiroshi shouted back in clear anger, his red Sharingan eyes spinning intensely as they glowed with power. He rushed forward at high speed, launching a direct and fierce attack, his sword shining with flowing chakra.
Swoooosh!
A fast horizontal slash, carrying strong force and clear killing intent.
In truth, it wasn't only the Uchiha forces who were shocked by the enemy's real strength. The Senju forces were just as stunned. None of them had expected the regular forces of the Land of the Blue Dragon to be at such a high level of skill and power.
Even the Second Elder, Hiroshi himself, and the Sixth Elder who had personally felt the overwhelming and terrifying presence of the minister known as Sato back at the royal palace had never imagined that the ordinary soldiers would reach this level. Because of that, they had built a flawed assumption, and it led them into a serious strategic mistake.
Yes, they knew very well that the enemy had extremely powerful individuals like Sato and the blue-haired young man who stood beside him, and possibly others. But when it came to the regular forces and common soldiers, they didn't give them much attention or respect. They believed, with confidence, that they could crush them easily without much trouble.
But the harsh reality in front of them now was completely different.
These "madmen" they were facing used a direct, wild, and overwhelming fighting style. It was chaotic, unstructured but extremely effective.
They forced both clans to completely rethink their earlier judgments.
Not only that these warriors were fighting both the Uchiha and Senju at the same time . and not defensively, but offensively.
Hiroshi briefly shifted his gaze away from his current opponent and looked toward his long-time rival Isshin Senju, the heir of the Senju Clan.
He saw him locked in a fierce, close-range battle with another one of those mad fighters, who was laughing wildly during the clash.
"Hahahaha! Yes! Yes! This is what I want! Fight! Fight more!"
At that exact moment, Hiroshi sensed a fast and extremely dangerous attack coming from his right side.
Without hesitation, driven by instinct, he raised his sword to block.
CLAAAAANG!
A heavy, violent impact rang out.
His body was thrown back through the air for about six meters.
BAM!
He hit the ground hard and rolled several times before stopping.
"Haagh!"
Hiroshi coughed up blood as he dropped to one knee, his hands trembling slightly as he struggled to catch his breath.
"Looks like you're not as special as the leader said."
The Lone Wolf facing him spoke with a faint mocking tone, walking forward with steady steps, full of confidence, his sword raised and a calm smile on his face.
Hiroshi looked up at him with intense anger, the three tomoe of his Sharingan spinning rapidly.
"You bastard! Don't get ahead of yourself!"
He stood up, his voice filled with pride.
"I am the Patriarch of the great Uchiha Clan! The heir to its pride and power!"
"Hahahaha! Yes! Yes! That's what I like to hear!"
The warrior laughed excitedly, then pointed his blade forward in clear challenge.
"Then come! Show me your true resolve and your full strength, proud Patriarch!"
Both of them dashed toward each other again at high speed, their swords colliding with even greater force.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
A chain of strikes fast, heavy, relentless.
At the same time, in Leon's battle against the two Patriarchs of the Uchiha and Senju, the three of them separated slightly after their intense clash, creating a small distance between them.
Each one stood in place, observing and evaluating.
"Looks like that was enough of a warm-up for you two, Patriarchs!"
Leon said loudly, his voice filled with excitement, a wide grin on his face.
"Come on, you great Patriarchs! Show me your strongest abilities!"
He raised his voice even more.
"Let me see the true pride of your ancient clans! Hahahahaha!"
Right after that, the expressions of all three changed sharply.
The atmosphere turned heavy, serious.
The pressure increased.
At that same moment the eyes of the Uchiha Patriarch changed from the three tomoe form into a completely different pattern.
Mangekyō Sharingan. His eyes shone with intense power.
At the same time, a powerful and concentrated aura exploded visibly around the Senju Patriarch.
BOOOOM!
Bright blue chakra surged around his entire body dense, overwhelming. The ground beneath his feet began to crack under the pressure.
"Yes! Yes! This is exactly what I want!"
Leon shouted, his excitement clear, his eyes shining brightly.
"You must bring out your full power!"
He raised his fist toward them.
"You are both at the peak of your lives!"
"Show me everything you have! Your full abilities! Your maximum strength!"
"You are the stars of this battle—so before you fall… shine with everything you have!"
The two Patriarchs looked at each other for a brief moment.
A silent understanding passed between them.
Then they both turned toward Leon, their eyes filled with burning resolve.
This was their enemy and their challenge. This was their final battle.
They would give everything they had and fight with their full strength. And they would die with dignity.
BOOOOM!
Their chakra erupted once more stronger than before, more focused.
Because now the real battle was beginning.
No retreat no hesitation or surrender a fight to the death and pride until the end. Honor until the final moment.
