Chapter 237 - Chapter 237 : The Giant Star

After confirming that the Inner World was functioning exactly as intended, Dan vanished from atop the stone throne and reappeared in the depths of outer space, in a distant region of the galaxy nearly seventy thousand light years away.

He stood in the cosmic void before a colossal blue-white star. Its brilliant radiance flooded the surrounding space with an overwhelming torrent of energy, and its sheer size made everything nearby appear insignificant in comparison.

"Your turn has finally come."

In truth, there was a very specific reason why he had traveled to this remote location. It lay in the requirements of the second phase of his monumental project.

Because the Inner World he was constructing was unprecedented in scale and because he intended it to become an exceptionally powerful world it required an equally extraordinary supply of natural energy.

His plan relied upon combining techniques derived from the Fermentation Seal with the Casimir Effect, allowing solar energy to be converted into natural energy that could be continuously injected into the Inner World.

This would become the single most difficult stage of the entire project.

Previously, while constructing the smaller Inner World inhabited by his family, he had merely harvested a portion of a star's emitted heat over a limited period of time.

This time, however, the scale was entirely different.

He intended to drain an entire star of every last fragment of its energy, leaving nothing behind, and convert that immense power completely into natural energy that would become the foundation of every future natural cycle within the Inner World.

His choice of a blue giant star was far from arbitrary.

It had been calculated with precision.

Blue giants contain unimaginably vast quantities of energy compressed within their enormous masses, far surpassing the reserves possessed by ordinary stars. Yet they also have remarkably short lifespans compared to other stellar types, surviving only a few million years rather than the billions enjoyed by smaller stars.

The reason was simple.

Blue giants radiate energy at an extraordinary rate, consuming themselves far faster than any other class of star. Eventually, after exhausting their fuel, they collapse under their own gravity and become enormous black holes.

Ironically, that very characteristic was what made them perfect for Dan's purposes.

Because they naturally released energy so rapidly and so intensely, they could be drained much more efficiently than quieter, longer-lived stars.

Yet the operation itself was extraordinarily dangerous. A star of this magnitude possessed gravitational forces so overwhelming that they represented a genuine threat even to Dan himself if the process were mishandled.

The moment its heat and energy were exhausted, its tremendous gravity would violently compress the remaining elements iron, oxygen, helium, carbon, hydrogen, and countless others . causing them to collapse inward beneath their own weight. In an instant, the dying star would transform into a massive black hole.

For that reason, the entire procedure demanded flawless coordination between numerous simultaneous processes.

First, Dan would construct a specialized spatial domain completely surrounding the star, creating an isolated environment in which every aspect of the operation could be controlled.

Within that space, he would employ the Casimir Effect, forcing spatial barriers to oscillate at unimaginable speeds in order to generate the negative energy required to accelerate time while simultaneously counteracting the star's immense gravitational pull, preventing it from collapsing before the extraction process had been completed according to schedule.

At the same time, he would activate the Fermentation Seal formation, continuously absorbing the star's thermal and radiative energy before instantly converting it into natural energy and channeling it directly into the Inner World.

Simultaneously, he would also dismantle the star's constituent elements hydrogen, helium, oxygen, and every other material composing its enormous body and transport them through the same channel into the Inner World.

As the star gradually lost its own mass, its gravitational pull would steadily weaken, allowing the extraction process to continue safely until nothing remained.

It would be an operation of astonishing complexity, one that could tolerate not even the slightest mistake.

Any error, however small, at any stage of the countless simultaneous processes could trigger the premature collapse of the star into a black hole, bringing the entire undertaking to a catastrophic end.

Because of that, Dan intended to supervise every aspect of the operation personally, maintaining uninterrupted concentration throughout its execution.

In many ways, he regarded it less as construction and more as a period of secluded cultivation.

Managing such an immense number of interconnected processes simultaneously would sharpen his spiritual power and refine the precision of his control to an entirely new level, bringing him one significant step closer to mastering the Sixth Vitality Seal.
