"Very well. It's decided. We will prepare for the raid over the next two days."
The young Patriarch seated at the head of the Senju Clan's council spoke with unmistakable resolve now that the decision had been made.
"As you command, Patriarch."
The elders answered in unison, although some of them were far from satisfied deep down. Intervening in a matter so far beyond their sphere of influence carried risks that several of them did not believe were justified at this time.
However, since the Patriarch had clearly made up his mind to intervene, none of them could openly oppose him. His authority within the clan was unquestionable, and no one seated around him was willing to challenge his decision directly.
In truth, the Patriarch was a good young man. He cared deeply about the welfare of his clan and possessed a kind heart. That was precisely why he insisted on intervening. He could no longer remain on the sidelines and simply watch after receiving report after report about the evil beast rampaging across the land, devouring people by the thousands and reducing entire cities to ruins.
Moreover, the Patriarch was extraordinarily powerful. He was the strongest member of the Senju Clan, and even the clan elders believed that one day he might reach the level of his legendary grandfather . the Patriarch whose name had become a permanent part of the world's history and whose legend was still spoken of after all these long years.
At the same time, while the Senju Clan's meeting was concluding its preparations for the upcoming raid, Dan was occupied in his laboratory, putting the finishing touches on his enormous training world. One hand continued moving across his blueprints while his mind remained divided between his work and everything else he was observing.
His attention briefly shifted toward the Senju Clan's meeting and the decision they had ultimately reached. A trace of satisfaction crossed his thoughts.
"It seems everything will unfold exactly as I expected."
In reality, when he had ordered his family to withdraw, return within the borders of the Blue Dragon Kingdom, and avoid interfering in this matter, he had done so for three specific reasons.
The first reason was that he did not want the Walt Family to interfere because doing so could alter the course of events, forcing history to deviate from the path he knew and expected. The average strength of the Walt Family far surpassed that of almost everyone else in this world. If they intervened directly, they might even be capable of destroying the Box of Ultimate Bliss itself. That was exactly what Dan wished to avoid under any circumstances, because the box occupied an irreplaceable role within his greater plan.
The second reason was that the reincarnations of Indra's and Asura's chakra had already been born into this era. Since both of them existed in the world, Dan was convinced they would never allow the demon to continue spreading chaos forever. Eventually, they would have no choice but to intervene, especially since Black Zetsu the one who might otherwise manipulate them remained sealed and had yet to regain his freedom.
Even if they did not choose to act of their own accord, Dan was certain Hagoromo would eventually influence them to do so. After all, Hagoromo himself was the indirect cause of this entire disaster. It was he who had brought the box from the dimension of the Pure Land into the world of the living. Therefore, it was only logical that he and his descendants should bear responsibility for dealing with the consequences themselves.
The third and final reason was, from the perspective of Dan's long-term ambitions, the most important of all. He would need that box in the future as part of his grand design. Dan intended to use these sealed malevolent entities as foundations upon which he would build and develop something even more terrifying.
For that reason, he had no desire to see the box destroyed by the intervention of a member of the Walt Family. It was far better for these entities to be handled exactly as they had been in the original story . to be sealed away and preserved until the moment his plan had advanced far enough for them to serve their true purpose.
