Dan's regenerative ability, achieved through the four mechanisms of the Sixth Vitality Seal, gives him a reliable alternative means of healing should the time ever come when he falls in battle, regardless of how severe the confrontation might be. However, despite the great importance of this ability, it is not the only capability he possesses in this regard.
He possesses other abilities similar in purpose, but far stronger and deeper in nature, relying on his spiritual energy and his chakra, every part of which carries his consciousness. Through them, he can completely reconstruct himself whenever necessary, entirely independently of his purely physical mechanisms.
In truth, when Dan compares his current level with what he remembers of Shibai Otsutsuki's capabilities in the original story, he is absolutely certain that he is far stronger than him and surpasses him by an enormous margin. The difference has become so great that Dan has deliberately begun sealing away a large portion of his true power, because it has exceeded his personal ability to control it.
The reason behind this enormous leap in his level of power is that, after continuing to grow and absorb vast quantities of natural energy over countless centuries, while simultaneously deepening his continuous research, particularly in the field of space-time, he reached an extraordinary point: he ascended in dimension, as well as in the very nature of his existence and his perception of everything around him.
If he were not exercising such strict control over himself, he would have already left his current dimension, which he had begun to perceive in an entirely different way. To Dan now, nothing remained hidden before his eyes. Closed surfaces no longer concealed what lay beyond them in any way. He could see the internal organs of a human body with perfect clarity, as though they were directly displayed before him without any covering, and he could see the cores of planets and stars with the same ease and clarity.
His eyes no longer constructed a two-dimensional image that his brain would later translate into three-dimensional depth, as happens with the normal visual perception of any living creature. Instead, he had begun to perceive an object as a complete three-dimensional structure from the front, back, above, below, and inside all at the same moment, grasping the complete and comprehensive image of any object without needing to rotate it before him or change the angle from which he viewed it.
His ability to travel had also evolved into something absolute and comprehensive. He could travel throughout the entire galaxy in which his planet existed, and even to nearby galaxies, without any noticeable effort and with an extremely small expenditure of energy.
If he were not cautious about venturing into regions farther than that, he could theoretically travel throughout the entire galactic cluster to which his galaxy belonged. However, he did not want to place himself in genuine danger by encountering beings that might be as powerful as him or even stronger in those distant, unexplored regions. The universe he inhabited was so vast that its full scale was difficult to comprehend, and there had to be beings far stronger than him somewhere within its endless reaches. This awareness of potential danger kept him cautious.
Another fascinating ability he acquired as a result of this dimensional ascension was that he had begun to perceive every living being as a tube or structure extending through time, rather than merely as a fixed point in the present moment. He could see this tube from the moment he first observed the being all the way to the moment of its eventual death, with the future extending before him like a complete geographical map whose different sections he could shift his attention between.
However, despite the power and clarity of this ability, it possessed a certain complexity in its nature. The future he saw was not absolutely fixed, but rather sensitive and subject to change due to the smallest causes and unforeseen factors. Every small decision made by that being itself or by those around it could alter the course of this temporal tube and change the ending or expected path that Dan saw. This meant that what he perceived was not an inevitable prophecy that could never be changed, but rather a strong probability based on the current circumstances, one that could change if a new variable intervened.
