He fell silent for a moment, as if giving the two children a chance to absorb his words, then continued in a voice that had become clearer:

The decision is yours."
Hashirama and Madara looked at each other in silence, their eyes filled with astonishment, because they had not expected this strange young man to make them such an offer, especially after all the times he had tried to get rid of them.
Each of them was analyzing the offer in his mind, asking himself whether this was real or merely another joke from this mysterious man, but there was something in his tone that told them he was serious this time, and that this opportunity might not come again.
At that point, Leon saw their serious expressions, as though they were carefully evaluating his offer, so he smiled and said in a voice that had once again become light and playful:
"What is with those serious looks? I never said I was going to steal your souls. Besides, you have no idea how many people would love to receive even a little guidance from me, so do not waste this opportunity by hesitating."
Hashirama immediately stepped forward, as though he feared Leon might withdraw his offer if he waited any longer, bowed deeply with respect, and said with undisguised enthusiasm:
"I accept, Uncle. I would be more than happy to train under you, and I will do everything I can to learn from you. Thank you for agreeing to teach us."
Leon then looked at Madara, who was still standing there, looking somewhat embarrassed, as though he wanted to agree but did not want to appear too enthusiastic, because that might make him seem weak in his eyes.
But after a moment of hesitation, he bowed as well, although his bow was less deep, as though he were trying to retain some of his pride, and said with his face slightly flushed:
"Me too. I will train with you, but do not think that I will obey you in everything. I will only listen to you if I believe what you say is correct. Otherwise, I will follow my own way."
Leon smiled at them and said:
"Very well. I will teach you some of the basics, but I am not your teacher. I will only guide you for a while."
Then he continued:
"First, why don't the two of you have a sparring match? I want to see your true level, to find out what you can do, what your strengths are, and where your weaknesses lie. Do not be afraid of hurting each other. I am here to observe and evaluate, and I will know how to intervene if necessary. Come on, show me what you've got."
Elsewhere, Dan smiled faintly as he watched the situation between Leon and the two children develop:
"He is progressing quickly, but that's fine. As long as he does not teach them anything supernatural that could affect the course of events, and as long as it is merely guidance that will allow them to build extremely strong foundations and surpass the level they originally reached in the original story, this could be beneficial, or it could be dangerous.
