My eyes had been on the surveillance recording sent by the building manager right after Anok pulled Claudia out of the penthouse.
She looked flustered in the recording, even trying to stop right at the main entrance. She looked up at the surveillance camera, and her eyes were filled with fear.
But Anok dragged her out and gave me a middle finger instead, a very classic move of a rogue woman like her.
I was about to reprimand them by calling Anok and telling her to return Claudia back to the penthouse immediately. However, I was reminded of Claudia's outburst a few days ago, when she was on the brink of losing her sanity because she wanted to see her daughter.
She even went as far as knocking Jane Jiang out cold just so she could escape. She didn't care about the punishment that I might use after she returned as well, signifying that she truly didn't give a shit as long as she could see Aurora.
