I knew they must have some complicated family traditions, and if kissing was a sacred act for him, it was only right for him to refuse kissing me.
Because I did not deserve to be with him, and everything that he did so far, including dating me, was just a way to relieve boredom and entertain a silly girl like me.
But it was still humiliating that I never asked for a kiss after that, and was convinced that Ray truly didn't love me.
Thus, it wasn't hard for me to move on and date Miles instead after breaking up with Ray.
Perhaps Ray had truly changed. But even if he had, considering the many choices that he had, why would he choose me?
'Could it be that he has been in love with me all this time, and decided to make a move once Miles and I are no longer together?'
That wishful idea came to my mind, but then I quickly shook my head to clear my thoughts.
