A whole night passed after our confrontation with Maya Reed, and the entire mansion turned eerie with not a single servant roaming around.
With only three people inside the mansion after the Cleaner left with a bloodied sack, Anok knocked on my door in the middle of the night.
She was still wearing her outfit from the morning when she dragged Maya to meet with the Cleaner, but if one's eyes peered enough, they would notice blots of blood around her skirt.
Perhaps, she had been watching how that vile woman was brutally murdered right in front of her eyes without moving, and some of the blood sputtered and stained her skirt.
She wasn't happy when I mentioned that, though.
"Ugh, this is a new collection!" Anok complained while looking down at the blood with obvious repugnance. "That bitch is still ruining my mood even in death!"
"You sound like a psychopath, just so you know," I mentioned.
