Chapter 32 - Chapter 32 You Regret My Handsomeness, Bang!

The battle with Bullet was a wake-up call for Blake.

The monsters of this world cannot be judged by common sense.

For example, Whitebeard, whether in the manga where he lost half his head, or in the anime where he had a transparent hole in his chest, could still fight for a long time.

Even with his heart pierced, Bullet still had the ability to resist.

Originally, Blake thought he was cautious enough, never allowing his enemies to get back up.

Now, he realized that in the future, he would have to chop off his enemies' heads.

Back in the azure System Space, Blake held an Ability Card in his hand.

Ability Card: Ghost Qi.

Blake was a little surprised:

"Ghost Qi? What is this?"

He remembered that in the original work, only Bullet and Zoro seemed to possess Ghost Qi.

But Blake wasn't sure what this thing was actually used for.

Bullet's use of Ghost Qi seemed to be only to fuse it with Haoshoku, enhancing the oppressive feeling of Haoshoku.

Zoro also used Ghost Qi in battle to increase the fear of his enemies.

However, when facing Kaido, Zoro used a technique similar to Conquerors Haki Infusion, infusing Ghost Qi into his sword.

This meant that Ghost Qi could also be infused.

So, since Conquerors Haki Infusion and Armament Haki Infusion can be used together, what about adding Ghost Qi?

Blake felt this was a new project worth exploring... The next morning, everyone gathered in the dining room for breakfast as usual.

Of course, there was no place for Olvia at the table.

Robin secretly glanced at Blake, and seeing that his expression was no different from usual, she quietly breathed a sigh of relief.

Blake's angry look yesterday really startled her.

After eating, Blake sent the others to the training ground first, leaving Robin alone.

Robin clasped her hands, constantly wiggling her fingers, appearing a little nervous.

"I don't know if Olvia told you about the poneglyph."

"Ohara's research into Ancient Script and the Void Century has been exposed, and there will be big trouble ahead."

"I considered that you always wanted to see her, which is why I had Aramaki bring her back."

Blake looked at Robin's slightly pale face and continued:

"But there might be a bounty on her head soon."

"If her identity is discovered, she's dead."

"Even I would be in trouble then."

He said sternly:

"So what I said yesterday was not out of anger, nor was it a joke."

"With me, she can keep her life."

"If she still thinks about the poneglyph, causing trouble for me, and trouble for herself, I will deal with her before the World Government notices."

Robin lowered her head and asked hesitantly:

"Your Highness, what will happen to Ohara?"

Blake shrugged:

"I don't know either, at least the scholars will all be arrested, I suppose."

He placed his hand on Robin's head:

"Alright, don't think too much about it, that's not something you can handle."

"Remember to keep an eye on Olvia for me in the future, okay?"

Robin nodded:

"Your Highness, rest assured, I will definitely keep an eye on Mama."

Blake smiled contentedly.

After living in Mary Geoise for these past few months, Robin had seen a lot.

At least she didn't say things like, "We just want to know the truth, is that wrong?" as she did in the original work.

It's like a website not allowing you to write adult novels, but you insist on writing them, and then the website bans your book.

You ask: I just want to write a book, is that wrong?

Of course it's wrong!

They already told you not to include adult content!

... Just as Blake began another day of training.

Marineford, the Fleet Admiral's office.

Kong slammed a document bearing the World Government emblem onto the center of the long table, his voice like a muffled thunder.

He had only recently woken up, and his voice was still a little weak:

"Ohara's scholars have deciphered the poneglyph, and the World Government has deemed this a 'crime that must be erased.'"

Kong's fingertip pointed to the island's outline on the map:

"The authorization for a Buster Call has been issued."

Garp's hand, which was picking his nose, paused:

"Hey, hey, those bookworms can't even hold a gun steady, can they?"

Vice Admiral Tsuru coldly interrupted:

"The problem isn't their combat power, but that they touched a taboo."

As she spoke, she glanced at Zephyr, who sat silently to the side.

Ever since his family was killed by pirates, Zephyr, though retaining his Admiral rank, no longer carried out missions.

Instead, he became an instructor at the Marine Academy, cultivating new blood for the Marine.

Another Admiral, "iron wall," had always been stationed in Mary Geoise.

Rather than being an Admiral, he was more like a World Government official.

So this Buster Call could only fall to... "The specific execution plan... Sengoku! You tell them."

Sengoku adjusted his glasses, the glare from the lenses obscuring his eyes.

He unfolded the operational map:

"I will personally lead the team, Kuzan will be responsible for port blockade, Sakazuki will cut off the escape routes at sea, and Fleet B5 will complete the encirclement."

Kuzan and Sakazuki were currently just ordinary Vice Admirals, with not much say in this level of meeting.

However, Sakazuki, with a cigar in his mouth, showed no emotion on his face.

Kuzan, however, frowned slightly, seeming somewhat displeased with the Buster Call.

They couldn't speak, but Zephyr had fewer qualms.

He slammed the table, pointing to the flag of justice hanging behind Kong:

"Did you ask about the Marine's justice when you carried out the World Government's orders?"

"Mind your position, Zephyr!"

Kong sharply rebuked him:

"The Marine's duty is to obey orders!"

"My duty is to protect the innocent!"

Zephyr suddenly stood up, his chair scraping sharply against the floor:

"When I lost my family back then, you told me, 'This is the evil of pirates.'"

"Now what? What's the difference between Marines who personally commit massacres and those pirates?"

Seeing the two looking as if they were about to come to blows if another word was exchanged, Sengoku immediately stepped in to try and de-escalate:

"The scholars' research might cause world instability..."

"It's never the truth that causes instability, but the fear of covering up the truth!"

Zephyr tore off the "Justice" cloak from his back and threw it on the table:

"This old man has retired; don't ask for my opinion on such matters again!"

"Kong! You will regret this!"

With that, Zephyr turned and left, slamming the door behind him.

From behind him came Kong's equally angry voice:

"Zephyr! I am the Fleet Admiral!"

Door: Bang!

Garp scratched his head and sighed:

"Ah, this is troublesome now. Zephyr really seems angry."

Sengoku once again reached out and pushed his glasses, saying nothing further.

Vice Admiral Tsuru picked up the Marine cloak Zephyr had thrown down, gently dusting off non-existent dust:

"Zephyr's anger is normal and reasonable, but the World Government's orders will not change."

Kong was breathing heavily.

After a long while, he finally spoke:

"Sengoku, go prepare the warships!"

"Yes!"
