Ian and his ship the skull diver were moving through the ocean calmly with John in the helm. Brill was behind Ian who was on the mantle piece. Ian gave a groan as he was getting bored with the lack of action for three days." I need to carve a corpse or I'm going to go mad," Ian said.
" Relax captain, we are al...," began Brill when a call came from the Crows nest.
" Neil, what's wrong?" Ian asked.
" Captain, a storm's a brewing," shouted the man on the Crows nest.
" Brill," Ian said calmly.
" All hands on deck men!" Brill shouted.
" AYE!" They shouted as movement on the ship began.
" Hey Brill, looks like the calm before the storm," said Ian with a smirk.
His black coat started to bellow as his eyes emitted a black aura." Aye Captain, a good time to go fishing," said Brill, hand on his flintlock.
" Men, after today, no one is allowed to die! UNDERSTAND!" Ian announced.
" Aye Captain," they called in random.
The sky was then slowly covered with dark clouds that boomed and thundered at the crew. Turbulent winds roared at them pushing their vessel every which way." John, she's all yours. Don't disappoint your crew now," ordered Ian.
" Aye cap'ain," said Brill putting on a pair of gloves," Men, close the sails and keep the hatch at the ready."
The men moved like ants on the ship following the order of their only hope of survival. No one ever questioned John's ability on the helm and no one ever will." Neptune, show yourself. I've come for what's mine you bastard!" Ian shouted and a water tornado appeared from the sea itself.
Lightning could be seen striking the tornado, revealing the silhouette of a giant mermaid with a crown. Then the tornado collapsed to reveal the king of the sea, king Neptune himself." So you finally grew the balls to come for me, huh," said Neptune raising his trident.
" Brill," said Ian," don't miss."
Brill pulled out his dual barrel flintlocks, arming himself on both arms and aimed at the trident which was now aimed at the skull diver. Ian did not flinch, even after it started charging up with lightning. Brill smirked and his jade eyes emitted a green aura similar to his hair before firing his bullets. The bullets hit a jewel on Neptune's trident and the whole thing froze over. Ian laughed as he jumped into the air rocking the entire ship. The crew cheered. Ian landed on the trident and ran up it's long staff. Neptune's eyes radiated with lightning as he tried to crush Ian like an ant. Brill saw this and shot a few rounds at his arm freezing it in place to his chest. Neptune was not having this, he created a tornado to try and crush the ship. Some of the crew started to shake in fear but the looked at John, who was practically chill, and all fear left the system. John pulled open the chest next to him and pulled out a cogshell. He blew it and the sound echoed across the stormy sea.
Just when it was about to strike, the ship was pushed to the side and it circled Neptune. They all knew what was going on. Tentacles emerged from the ocean to reveal the crew's old friend, the kraken." Hey there old friend, think you can help the captain. He needs some help," John requested as the kraken moved towards Neptune.
Ian reached the shoulder and created a void of black energy with his saber and sent it to Neptune's head. His entire head was then incased in black energy blinding him. Before he could react, the tentacles grabbed him and held his only free hand. Ian was having fun. He jumped onto the frozen hand and cut open the left pec. The chunk of flesh slid down and fell into the ocean. Neptune used practically all his strength to raise his trident and blast himself with said lightning but Ian jumped into Neptune's body and incased himself in a cocoon of ice. Once Neptune could take no more, Ian removed it and cut out all the blood vessels linked to the heart before throwing it out before jumping out to follow it as it fell." Neptune, you were a worthy adversary but looks like I claimed back me heart," said Ian landing on the ship and the hatch opened.
He threw the heart in and the hatch closed. Brill gave the order and the ship started to roll out." Don't think I will let you off that easily. You will die here with me," said Neptune as he conjured up a whirlpool to sink their ship.
The ship was moving against the current and hope was dim but Ian and Brill never shifted. Then a crewmate ran into the deck and yelled that it was connected. Ian smirked and ordered Ian to get them out of their. John smirked and told everyone to hold one. The ship matched the whirlpool and moved deeper and deeper until they were nearly at the bottom then John changed the angle of the ship to face the sky and pulled a lever. The ship was sent flying into the sky through a large cannon shaped thruster in the back of the ship. Ian jumped off the ship saying he needed to grab something. The ship landed a few hundred miles away and the men got to cheering. A few moments later, the captain arrived riding the kraken and eating a kraken tentacle with a shrunken trident. He looked more like a gangster. He got on and waved his friend goodbye. Ian gave the order for them to head to England to rest.
