Jay POV:
I was getting tired, but I really wanted to go on this Ferris wheel. I might be tough on the outside, but I am a girl who also has dreams. I always wanted to go on a Ferris wheel and I am definitely going to make my dream come true! And it is also Jane's dream. We always begged Papa to go to the Ferris wheel, but they were too busy and when they allowed the accident happened. But I couldn't hold back a yawn anymore, so I yawned, which was barely noticeable, but Jane and Kiefer seemed to notice.
Kiefer (softly): You are tired, Jay
Jane (soft): Let's go home
Jay: We both know we don't want to go home, now. After all this time, we finally get the chance
Jane: But Jay-
Jay: Jane, it was both of our dreams and I am not going to shatter our dream
Jane: We can come another time
Jay: When? When our exams will be there? Or when there will be Christmas, where we will most probably travel to another country? Or the weekends, where we will be visiting Aries, Kuya Angelo and Tita Gemma? When?
Jane didn't seem to have an answer.
Jay: I will stay here till the morning if I have to, but I am not going.
Kiefer POV:
God, this girl is stubborn. But she is talking about dreams. Is riding the Ferris wheel her dream? If so, I will definitely make it come true. I would build a Ferris wheel from scratch, just to see her smile. That's when an idea crossed my mind. I went over to Yuri and explained the situation and told him the plan. Our plan was to clear the queue, but we didn't know how. We kind of improvised. We always made-up different kind of stories. We told a group of girls, that we were proposing to our girlfriends, we told a group of adults that we were about to die, we told a group of boys that our girlfriends came from a poor background and never rode the Ferris wheel. One by one the queue got shorter. Section E and F4 also seemed to understand our plan and did the same. I just hope Jay and Jane don't find out or else she will kill me. Especially the excuse that they came from a poor background.
Jay POV:
Kiefer went to Yuri and looked like they were planning something and then they went up to the people, who were standing in the queue and they started going. A group of girls were squealing at us, pointing at us and said to us
The group: Your boyfriends are gems, keep them forever!
Jane and I were blushing. What did they say? A group of adults looked sad for us. And a group of boys shoved 50 pesos in our hands!!!! We are getting free money now??? We were about to say something when they said
The boys: Keep it and keep your boyfriends. They are good to you
Jane and I were blushing, but we were also confused. What on earth did they say????? And after 5 minutes or so, we were the only ones lined up in the queue. In every cart there could be 4 people. In our cart was Kiefer, C-in, Rory and I. They Ferris wheel slowly went up and I was about to cry. I made it. My dream came true. And then I asked Kiefer
Jay: What did you say to those people?
Kiefer looked like he was trying to find an excuse, but it seemed like he couldn't find one. So, he said while rubbing the back of his neck
Kiefer: I might have told them that I am proposing to my girlfriend, that I am dying and that you come from a poor background
I was glaring at him. The proposing thing was actually cute but the last one!!!! Oh, he will die!!!! Ci-n and Rory looked like pufferfish. And when I asked them
Jay: Why do you look like pufferfish?
They looked at each other and burst out laughing. Huh? Why are they laughing?
Ci-n: Kiefer, is so going to die!!!🤣
Rory: That they are from a poor background is even worse than the proposal thing!!!!!😂
I glared at all of them and they immediately shut up.
Jay: Seriously, A**hole!!!! Why the excuse with the poor background????? I literally got 50 pesos!!!!! They think I am poor!!!!
Rory and Ci-n burst out laughing again
Ci-n (howling from laughter): 50 PESOS!!!!!!🤣
Rory: Can you give me half?
Jay: No, and shut up!!!
They stopped laughing after a while and Kiefer started reasoning
Kiefer: Well, if I wouldn't have done that, they wouldn't have cleared the line. That means you wouldn't have gotten 50 pesos and your dream wouldn't have come true
Jay: Did you have to make me poor???? Couldn't you make yourself poor????
Kiefer: According to some people, I will be dead soon!!! Should I have also said on top of that that I am poor???
They started laughing again
Jay: YES!!! Then you wouldn't be about to experience death in real life!!!!
Kiefer: Tss… Just be grateful, that you have a boyfriend, who is willing to die so that you can make your dream come true
Jay: I am, but never make me poor! I would rather have self-respect than money
Kiefer (soft): Next time, I will take care of your self-respect. But can you at least enjoy your dream?
I didn't say anything after that. I enjoyed the Ferris wheel with Kiefer by putting my head on his shoulder. I didn't care what Ci-n and Rory were going to say, I wanted to enjoy it with the person I love. But if you are interested in their reactions, they were calling us husband and wife, squealing and were taking pictures of us. But I didn't care, because I felt warm and safe on Kiefer's shoulder. By the time the Ferris wheel ride ended, I was half asleep, but I was pretending to be asleep, so that I can get carried by Kiefer. And it worked, except he knew I was pretending. He whispered in my ear
Kiefer (smug, but also a bit of softness): If you wanted to be carried, you could have just said so
Then he gave me a soft forehead kiss. I just nuzzled more into his neck, smelling the faint scent of his cologne and fell asleep.
Jane POV (in their cart):
In my cart, there was Felix, Edrix, Yuri and I. When I went in I felt overwhelmed by joy, that I just wanted to cry. But I had a question
Jane: Yuri, what did you say to those people in the queue?
Felix: Yeah, what did you say?
Yuri looked like he was torn between telling the truth or lying, but it looked like he didn't have any choice but to say the truth. He said while rubbing his neck
Yuri (nervous): I might have told them that I am proposing to my girlfriend, that I am dying and that you come from a poor background
I was shocked and mad
Jane (angry): YOU WHAT???
Felix and Edrix immediately burst out laughing.
Jane (mad): YOU CALLED ME POOR???? THEY GAVE ME 50 PESOS!!!!!
Felix and Edrix were dying from laughter.
Edrix (breathless and teasing): Will you give me some?
Jane: It is my money now!!!!
Yuri: You wouldn't be able to be on the Ferris wheel, if I wouldn't have said that
He was saying the truth, I really wouldn't have been able to ride the Ferris wheel, if he wouldn't have done that
Jane: But why did you ruin my self-respect?
Yuri: I didn't try to. Next time I will make myself poor instead of you, deal?
Jane: Deal
Yuri: Now enjoy the Ferris wheel ride
I put my head on his shoulder, while Felix and Edrix were teasing us. I enjoyed it and then I saw Jay pretending to be asleep, so that she could be carried. Jay, you are so smart!!!! I pretended to be asleep as well and it worked, well not really. He quietly said
Yuri: If you wanted to be carried, you could have just said so *kissed my cheek*
I tried not to react, but he knew anyways and chuckled. I just nuzzled into his neck and fell asleep, while smelling the faint scent of his cologne.
