Jay (impatient): Where are we going?
Kiefer chuckled.
Kiefer: Wait, a bit more, love. We will reach there in a few minutes
I was definitely blushing! He has called me love a lot, but it just always hits different!
Kiefer: Aww, my wife is blushing! My wife always looks cute, while blushing! Will you please wear this? *gives her a blindfold*
Jay: Why?
Kiefer: Then it will seem more like a surprise! Please, wear it *gives puppy eyes*
He never begs and he looks adorable with his puppy eyes, so I nodded. I trust him with my life! The car came into a halt and the car door on Kiefer's side opened and closed. I could hear him opening my car door and taking my hand. I stumbled, but he caught me.
Kiefer (whispering in her ear): Careful, wifey
I felt heat creeping on my cheeks. He called me wifey! He lifted me bridal style and I put my arms around his neck. After a while he stopped and made me stand.
Jay (impatient & excited): Can I take off my blindfold now?
Kiefer: You can
I took it off and what I saw shocked me and made me jump in joy. He set up a picnic in the fields! It looked breathtaking! Fairy lights giving a gold shine, the smell of food captivating my soul and our couple pictures also hung on a string. I immediately hugged him. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around me.
Kiefer: You like it?
Jay: I love it! You didn't have to do this
Kiefer: I wanted to and I wanted to spend time with my wife
I blushed hard and dragged him to the blanket spread on the green gras. We ate, made jokes, teased each other, fed each other and shared small moments together.
Kiefer (smirked): How is the food?
Jay: I love it! Who made it? The chef should get a raise!
Kiefer (smirked): So, I should get a raise?
Jay: YOU MADE IT!!!???
Kiefer nodded, amused by my reaction
Jay: You are kidding!!!
Kiefer: No, I made it by myself
Jay: How???
Kiefer (a bit sad): I taught myself after...
I pulled him in a hug.
Jay: Don't worry, you aren't alone anymore. You have me. I will get revenge on Kaiser.
Kiefer: Jay, please don't meddle
Jay: Do you know what Tita Serina said to us, before she died?
He shook his head in no. I cupped his face
Jay: She said to take care of you, Kiefer. She told us to take care of Kieren, Kiegan and most importantly you. She said she knows that you will not let anyone show your feelings .
Tears started to well in Kiefer's eyes.
Jay (soft): She also told us, to protect you from Kaiser and to avenge her.
Kiefer's tears fell and I pulled him into a hug. He started to sob. After a while I pulled back and wiped his tears with my thumb. I kissed his face and said
Jay (gentle): Don't cry. I am here. I will protect you.
Kiefer (stubborn): No, I will protect you! Who will protect you, if not me?
Jay: We will protect each other, ok?
Kiefer (reluctantly): Fine
Jay (trying to cheer him up): Now let's eat more. Crying makes a person hungry
Kiefer laughed. It was a small sound, but real. I fed him and after a while he seemed better. Maybe I should tell him about the business deal with MKW. What if he finds out by himself and misunderstands?
Jay: Kief, promise you won't be mad
Kiefer: I won't be mad at my wife
I took a deep breath and told him everything about today morning. Kiefer listened and admired me.
Kiefer: Jay, thanks for telling me. You are such a good wife!
Jay: Hoy, I am not your wife!
Kiefer: You will be!
Jay: So, you're not mad?
Kiefer: No, I trust my soon to be Mrs. Watson. But please be careful around him, I heard he is ruthless.
Jay: I will and don't worry I am no less *winked*
He blushed. I cupped his face and looked at his ears
Kiefer: W-What are you doing
Jay: Memorizing the way my Kief blushes
Kiefer blushed more at that. I chuckled and let go of him.
Jay: And I am taking the food with me
Kiefer: You know you can get food from me every day, if you marry me
I blushed so hard at that. I playfully hit him on his shoulder. Kiefer chuckled
Kiefer: I can cook for you anytime, my everything.
I blushed more. AHHHHHHHH! How can he flirt this well?? He cupped my face and traced my cheeks with his thumb.
Kiefer: You know, you look cute when you blush
Then he kissed me. It was a passionate and gentle kiss. After a few kisses I pulled away. And I didn't expect Kiefer to pout. I kissed his pout and said
Jay: Kief, I am tired
He looked at me softly and carried me to the car.
Jay: I can still walk, you know
Kiefer: You said you are tired
Jay: You are making me lazy
Kiefer: Then you can be lazy for the rest of your live, because I am not going anywhere
I blushed hard, so I nuzzled my face into his neck, smelling the scent of his intoxicating cologne. Kiefer just chuckled and gently put me in his car. He buckled my seatbelt and kissed me on my head. I smiled. When he was starting his car, I kissed his cheeks and intervened his fingers with mine. He smiled. After driving, he kissed me gently.
Kiefer: I will come tomorrow as well. We can study together.
Jay: Ok, good night, Kief. I love you
Kiefer: I love you too until the scientists find the end of the universe and beyond that. Good night, Mrs. Watson.
I waved him good bye and waited till he drove away. I went inside and my sister was waiting inside, ready to interrogate me.
