Chapter 35 - exactly

Jay's POV

I was walking toward the courtyard, my mind still buzzing from the morning chaos, when I spotted Keifer talking to Freya near the stage props. My ears immediately caught snippets of their conversation.

"…so for the play, I think Section E should start with the introduction scene first…" Keifer was saying, his voice calm and precise, giving suggestions.

Freya nodded, laughing lightly. "Yeah, that makes sense. I like your idea, Keifer."

My stomach twisted in jealousy before I even realized it. What the hell? He's talking to her about the play? My eyes narrowed, my fists tightened, and suddenly my feet were moving faster than my brain.

I didn't even think. I just ran straight toward them.

"Keifer!" I shouted, and before either of them could react, I launched myself at him, wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him hard in front of everyone.

Keifer froze for half a second. Then, to my surprise, he didn't push me away. Not that I cared—my entire brain was shut down with possessiveness and fury.

Freya, standing beside us, blinked, and then burst out laughing. "Ohhh Jayy! Your boyfriend was just talking about the play—I wasn't flirting with him!"

I paused mid-kiss, breaking it just enough to glare at her. "Talking about the play? Talking? Oh really? Because it looked like the start of a rom-com right here!" I shoved her gently in mock annoyance. "Step back, lady, before I think you want a sequel with me too!"

Freya laughed even harder, holding her stomach. "No, no! I swear, Jay, it's just the play! I was literally giving him advice on props and lighting, that's it!"

I narrowed my eyes at her dramatically. "Advice on props, huh? You sure that's all you were doing, Freya? Because I swear, if you so much as think about holding his hand again…" I leaned toward her menacingly, my finger wagging like a teacher scolding a troublemaker.

Keifer finally regained his composure and shook his head, smirking. "Jay… relax. I was literally just talking about the play. Freya didn't—"

"Oh no, Keif! Don't you dare defend her!" I snapped, glaring at him now too. "You see this, don't you? You're mine, mark it! Only mine. I don't care if she knows about stage directions, lighting, or dialogue cues—hands off my boyfriend!"

Keifer chuckled, trying to hide his amusement. "Jay, you're overreacting…"

"Overreacting?!" I shouted, throwing my arms up like the world had just betrayed me. "Do you see her? Laughing? Smiling? Talking to you? If I don't kiss you right now, I might spontaneously combust in front of the whole school!"

Freya laughed so hard she doubled over. "Oh my god, Jay! You're hilarious! I was literally talking about Stage 1 entrance timing, not your love life!"

"Oh really?" I leaned closer to Keifer again, whispering in his ear just loud enough for Freya to hear, "See, he thinks he can talk to girls and pretend it's innocent. But I'm onto his little schemes, mister. So if you ever talk to her like that again, I might have to punish you again."

Keifer's smirk faltered slightly, though he was trying to stay calm. "Punish me… again?"

"Yes!" I hissed dramatically. "And don't think I won't. I've been practicing my savage skills all morning!"

Freya's laughter reached a new level. "Jay, you are something else! Honestly, I didn't think someone could be this savage in real life!"

I ignored her, pointing at Keifer like a teacher catching a student cheating. "Keifer Watson! You better memorize this: I am your girlfriend. You are mine. Got it? Repeat after me!"

Keifer raised an eyebrow but played along. "I… am… yours?"

"LOUDER!" I shouted, hands on my hips, standing as tall as I could.

"I AM YOURS!" he bellowed, smirking despite himself.

"Good. Now remember it. And if I see you talking to any girl about anything again, I swear I'll—"

"Jay!" Keifer interrupted, laughing. "I get it, I get it!"

"Do you?! Because last time, someone tried to call you cute, and I had to roast her into another dimension!" I pointed at Freya. "And that girl survived only because she's my friend! Anyone else? Don't test me."

Freya wiped tears from her eyes, still giggling. "Oh my god, Jay, you are absolutely terrifying! But also kind of amazing…"

I ignored her, turning back to Keifer. "And you! Don't even think about giving me that smirk. I see you smirking, I'll roast you too. Right here. Right now. Section E will witness it!"

Keifer laughed, shaking his head, clearly enjoying the chaos. "Jay… you're insane."

"INSANE?" I shouted, flinging my arms around. "I am a full-on, certified, savage girlfriend! And you better remember it every single time you open your mouth around another girl!"

At that moment, a few students passing by started whispering and laughing. I didn't care. I was on a mission, and it was purely for territorial defense.

"I swear, Keifer Watson, if I ever catch you looking at another girl like she's your homework, I will—oh, I don't know—tie you up in ribbon and display you as a warning in Section E!" I waved my hands dramatically like a general giving orders.

Keifer laughed so hard he almost fell over. "Jay, you're ridiculous."

"RIDICULOUS?" I pointed at him, leaning on his shoulder and narrowing my eyes. "No. I am SAVAGE. And I am YOURS. Understand? Only mine. Forever."

Freya, still clutching her stomach from laughing, shouted, "Jay, you just roasted him so hard he's probably going to forget how to breathe!"

I ignored her, turning back to Keifer and whispering in his ear, "And if you ever try to charm another girl again, I will make sure she wishes she never existed."

Keifer groaned dramatically. "Jay! I swear, you're terrifyingly adorable and terrifyingly savage at the same time…"

"GOOD!" I shouted triumphantly, standing on my tiptoes like a victorious warrior. "You're supposed to be scared. And loyal. And mine. Got it?"

"Yes… yes, Jay," he said, smiling and shaking his head.

"Finally," I said, sitting back with a satisfied grin. "Remember this moment. Remember who's in charge. And now, get ready, because if you think I'm done roasting you, you're very, very wrong."

Keifer laughed, grabbing my hand and squeezing it gently. "Jay… I think I'm in trouble."

"Oh, you are in trouble, Keifer Watson," I said, smirking like a true savage. "And the best part? I'm just getting started."

Freya shook her head, still laughing hysterically. "Ohhh, Jay… you are next-level."

I looked at Keifer and whispered, "And don't you dare tell me to calm down. This is my territory, my boyfriend, my chaos—and if anyone forgets that, they're in for a savage lesson straight from me!"

Keifer groaned dramatically, holding his face. "Jay… you're impossible…"

"And proud of it," I said, grinning wickedly. "Now, let's finish this play planning—or anyone else touches you, I swear I'll roast them into extinction!"

Freya clapped her hands, still giggling. "I think I need to take notes. Jay, your roasting skills are unmatched!"

I smirked at her. "Oh, honey, this is just the beginning. Consider it a live tutorial on how to handle a boyfriend properly. Step one: Don't talk to other girls. Step two: Obey. Step three: Repeat."

Keifer laughed so hard he almost dropped his notebook. I leaned closer and whispered in his ear one last time, "And if you even think of looking at another girl… remember, my savage skills are lethal."

Keifer shook his head, smiling despite himself. "Noted… Ms. Savage."

I gave him a victorious smirk, then turned to Freya. "And yes, you get to laugh—just don't cross the line, or next time, you might be on my savage list too."

Freya groaned, holding up her hands in mock surrender. "Okay, okay! I get it! Jay, you win… for now!"

I smirked, satisfied, glancing at Keifer. "See, babe? That's how you keep your boyfriend in line. Lesson one, complete."

Keifer groaned, burying his face in his hands. "I'm doomed…"

"Exactly," I said, grinning devilishly. "And welcome to the world of dating me—savage, unstoppable, and definitely unforgettable."

The three of us laughed as the chaos of the courtyard carried on around us. Section E might have been preparing for a play, but right now… I was the star of my own savage performance.
