Chapter: The Most Dangerous Game Ever
Jay's POV
The night air at the retreat was cold.
But the campfire in the middle of the field burned bright, crackling loudly while sparks flew into the dark sky. The trees around us swayed slowly with the wind, and the whole place looked like something out of a horror movie.
Except the horror was not ghosts.
The horror was Section E gathered in one place.
Which meant chaos.
Pure chaos.
I was sitting on a log near the campfire with Keifer beside me while everyone else formed a circle.
Ci-N suddenly clapped loudly.
"OKAY EVERYONE!"
Blaster raised his hand dramatically.
"Welcome to the most dangerous activity known to mankind."
Rory grinned.
"TRUTH OR DARE."
Everyone cheered.
I groaned.
"Oh no."
Keifer smirked beside me.
"You're scared?"
I crossed my arms.
"I am not scared."
Felix pointed at me.
"She's scared."
"I am NOT."
Ci-N spun an empty glass bottle and placed it in the middle of the circle.
"Rules are simple," he announced proudly.
"If you refuse a dare you must run three rounds around the retreat campus wearing Blaster's jacket."
Blaster stood up proudly.
"My jacket smells like protein powder and suffering."
Kit gagged.
"That's disgusting."
Erdix leaned forward.
"Spin it already."
Ci-N spun the bottle dramatically.
Everyone leaned closer to watch.
The bottle spun… spun… slowed down…
And stopped.
Pointing at David.
Everyone cheered.
David sighed.
"Great."
Ci-N grinned like a devil.
"Truth or dare."
David narrowed his eyes.
"Truth."
Everyone booed loudly.
"BORING!"
Ci-N crossed his arms.
"Fine. Truth."
He leaned closer.
"Do you have a crush on anyone in this school?"
Everyone immediately leaned closer.
David looked around calmly.
"…No."
Silence.
Then Blaster shouted,
"LIAR."
Everyone laughed.
Ci-N spun the bottle again.
This time it landed on Blaster.
Felix grinned.
"Truth or dare."
Blaster puffed his chest.
"DARE."
Ci-N's eyes sparkled.
"Oh this is perfect."
He pointed toward the dark trees.
"I dare you to run into the forest and scream 'I LOVE HOMEWORK' three times."
Everyone exploded laughing.
Blaster looked horrified.
"That's psychological torture."
"GO."
Blaster groaned dramatically but stood up.
We all watched him run into the darkness.
Then we heard—
"I LOVE HOMEWORK!"
The whole camp burst into laughter.
"I LOVE HOMEWORK!"
"I LOVE—"
A loud branch snapped somewhere.
Blaster screamed.
"OKAY I'M DONE!"
He ran back like a man chased by demons.
Everyone collapsed laughing.
Next spin.
The bottle stopped at Ci-N.
Felix grinned wickedly.
"Truth or dare."
Ci-N crossed his arms confidently.
"Dare."
Felix smirked.
"I dare you to propose to that tree."
Everyone turned toward a random tree near the campfire.
Ci-N stared at it.
"…Seriously?"
"YES."
Ci-N sighed and walked to the tree dramatically.
He knelt down.
"TREE…"
Everyone lost it.
"Will you marry me?"
He hugged the tree.
"You give me oxygen."
The entire group was crying from laughter.
Even Keifer beside me was laughing so hard he almost fell off the log.
Next spin.
The bottle turned slowly…
And stopped.
Pointing at me.
Everyone gasped dramatically.
"Oh no."
Ci-N cracked his knuckles.
"Jay."
I narrowed my eyes.
"Choose wisely."
"Truth or dare."
I smirked.
"Dare."
The entire group started whispering like evil masterminds.
Felix leaned toward Ci-N.
"Do it."
Ci-N grinned slowly.
"Oh this is perfect."
I immediately felt suspicious.
"What."
Ci-N pointed at Keifer.
"I dare you to sit on Keifer's lap for the next round."
Everyone screamed.
"OOOOOOO."
My face turned red instantly.
"That's stupid."
"Rules are rules."
Keifer smirked beside me.
"Come here."
"Shut up."
But the entire group started chanting.
"JAY! JAY! JAY!"
I groaned loudly and stood up.
"This is humiliating."
Felix laughed.
"JUST DO IT."
I walked toward Keifer slowly.
He leaned back casually like he owned the world.
I glared at him.
"If you say one word I will kill you."
Then I sat on his lap.
The group exploded.
"OH MY GOD."
"LOOK AT THEM."
Ci-N fell on the grass laughing.
Keifer leaned close to my ear.
"You're blushing."
"Shut up."
Next spin.
The bottle turned again.
And then…
Stopped.
Pointing directly at Keifer.
Everyone went silent.
Then the entire group screamed.
"OOOOOOOOOO."
Ci-N stood up like a villain.
"Keifer Watson."
Keifer sighed.
"…Dare."
The entire group started whispering again.
Felix raised his hand dramatically.
"I have the perfect dare."
Ci-N grinned.
"Say it."
Felix pointed at me.
"I dare you to kiss Jay…"
Everyone leaned closer.
"…for TEN MINUTES."
Silence.
Then chaos exploded.
"WHAT?!"
"NO WAY!"
"THIS IS HISTORY!"
I almost fell off Keifer's lap.
"EXCUSE ME?"
Ci-N nodded seriously.
"Ten minutes."
Keifer looked completely calm.
"Fine."
I turned to him.
"FINE?!"
He smirked.
"Relax."
"I WILL NOT RELAX."
Everyone started chanting again.
"KISS! KISS! KISS!"
My face was burning.
"YOU ALL NEED THERAPY."
But before I could escape—
Keifer grabbed my waist.
And pulled me closer.
"Timer," he said calmly.
Felix immediately opened his phone.
"READY."
I glared at Keifer.
"Don't you dare."
He smiled slightly.
Too late.
His hand moved to the back of my neck.
And then—
He kissed me.
The entire group exploded screaming.
"OH MY GOD."
"THIS IS HAPPENING."
Ci-N fell to the ground laughing.
Felix shouted,
"ONE MINUTE!"
Keifer didn't pull away.
My brain completely stopped working.
Two minutes.
Three minutes.
Everyone kept screaming.
Blaster whispered loudly,
"They forgot we exist."
Rory nodded.
"Yeah they're in another dimension."
Five minutes.
Felix shouted,
"HALF TIME!"
I punched Keifer's shoulder but he didn't move.
Seven minutes.
The group started clapping.
Nine minutes.
Ci-N wiped fake tears.
"This is beautiful."
Then suddenly—
A voice came from behind us.
"Wow."
Everyone froze.
Keifer slowly pulled away.
I turned around.
And saw Aries standing there.
Holding his phone.
Recording.
My soul left my body.
Aries grinned devilishly.
"Well well well."
Everyone screamed.
"ARIES?!"
He walked closer casually.
"That was a very educational moment."
I jumped off Keifer immediately.
"ARIES!"
He raised his phone.
"Oh don't worry."
He waved it.
"I recorded everything."
Everyone gasped.
"NO WAY."
"Yes way."
Aries smirked.
"I think Kuya Angelo would love to see this."
My heart stopped.
"YOU WOULDN'T."
He pretended to think.
"Hmmm…"
Keifer stood up.
"Aries."
Aries laughed.
"Oh relax."
Then he looked at me.
"Jay."
I pointed at him.
"Delete it."
"Or what?"
"I will throw you into the campfire."
Ci-N whispered loudly,
"She means it."
Aries laughed again.
"Okay okay."
He lowered the phone.
"But wow…"
He looked at Keifer.
"Ten minutes bro?"
Then he looked at me.
"Jay you're wild."
I grabbed a pillow and threw it at him.
"SHUT UP."
The entire group burst into laughter again.
And the chaos continued under the firelight…
