Chapter: Still Behind That Door
(Aries' POV)
I swear…
It had already been thirty minutes.
Thirty.
And Keif and Jay still hadn't come out of that room.
The entire living room of Keif's house had turned into pure chaos.
Ci n was lying on the couch upside down, scrolling through his phone.
Keigan was pacing back and forth like a detective trying to solve a crime.
And poor Keiran… he still looked confused about everything that had happened.
I leaned against the wall near the staircase, rubbing my forehead.
"Are they seriously still inside?" Keigan muttered.
Ci n didn't even look up from his phone.
"Oh they're definitely still inside."
Another sound echoed faintly from upstairs.
Keigan froze.
"…Did you hear that?"
Ci n slowly raised his hand dramatically.
"Ladies and gentlemen… the door of destiny remains closed."
I groaned.
"Can you stop being dramatic for five minutes?"
Ci n grinned.
"No."
Keiran looked between all of us.
"…Why are Kuya Keif and Ate Jay taking so long?"
Keigan instantly grabbed a pillow and threw it at Ci n.
"YOU explain!"
Ci n caught it easily and smirked.
"They're… discussing important couple matters."
Keiran blinked.
"…Like homework?"
I choked on air.
Ci n slapped his knee laughing.
"Yeah kid. Exactly like homework."
Upstairs…
We heard a thud.
Keigan's eyes widened.
"Oh my god."
Ci n leaned forward like he was watching a movie.
"This is getting interesting."
I shot him a glare.
"Sit down."
Another sound.
Then Jay's voice faintly echoed from upstairs.
"Keif—"
Ci n immediately buried his face into the couch screaming silently.
Keigan looked traumatized.
"I can't unhear this!"
I crossed my arms.
"They know we're here. She's doing it on purpose."
Ci n lifted his head.
"Oh definitely."
Keigan groaned loudly.
"Why would she do this to us?!"
Ci n pointed toward the staircase.
"To make sure Yuri never comes back."
That actually made sense.
Jay wasn't the type to quietly solve problems.
She solved them with maximum chaos.
Keiran slowly looked at me.
"Kuya Aries…"
"Yes?"
"…Is Ate Jay fighting with Kuya Keif?"
Ci n fell off the couch laughing.
Keigan looked like he wanted to disappear.
I sighed.
"No."
"Then why does she keep shouting his name?"
Ci n raised a finger like a teacher.
"Because she's… very passionate."
Keiran blinked.
"…About fighting?"
I rubbed my face.
I give up.
Just then—
Another loud BANG echoed from upstairs.
Keigan jumped.
"THE BED IS GOING TO BREAK!"
Ci n wheezed laughing.
"Kuya Keif is fighting for his life up there."
I pointed toward the kitchen.
"Someone go get water."
Keigan frowned.
"Why?"
"For when they finally come down."
Ci n smirked.
"Or for when Keif collapses."
Keigan burst out laughing again.
Keiran tilted his head.
"…Why would Kuya collapse?"
Ci n dramatically stood up and placed a hand on Keiran's shoulder.
"Because love is exhausting."
I threw a pillow at him.
"Sit down!"
The house finally became quiet again.
Too quiet.
Keigan looked toward the staircase suspiciously.
"…Do you think they finished?"
Ci n leaned back on the couch calmly.
"Trust me."
"With Jay?"
"Not yet."
And right on cue—
Jay's voice echoed from upstairs again.
"Keif!"
Keigan screamed into a pillow.
"I'M MOVING OUT!"
Ci n wiped tears from his eyes laughing.
"This house is cursed."
I shook my head and walked toward the kitchen.
At this rate…
They might not come out of that room for hours.
And honestly?
None of us were emotionally prepared for when they finally did. 😭
