Chapter: Back to School Chaos
(Keif's POV)
Going back to school after everything that happened at the house felt… normal.
Or at least I thought it would be normal.
Jay and I walked through the school gate together. The morning air was cool, and students were already crowding the halls.
Jay had her usual calm expression, holding her bag on one shoulder.
"You're quiet," she said.
"I'm thinking."
"That's dangerous."
I smirked a little.
"Very funny."
We reached our classroom.
Section E.
And the moment we stepped inside—
Everything went silent.
That should have been my first warning.
Because suddenly Eren Yeager leaned back in his chair with a slow grin.
"Oh look."
Then Emman turned around.
"The lovebirds arrived."
Jay immediately stopped walking.
"…What."
Then the rest joined.
Josh slapped the table dramatically.
"BRO WE HEARD EVERYTHING."
My eye twitched.
"From who."
Calix pointed at Ci n.
"Your loud friend."
Jay slowly turned to look at Ci n.
Ci n immediately raised both hands.
"HEY I ONLY SAID A LITTLE."
Jay's glare could probably end wars.
Then Felix leaned forward dramatically.
"So…"
He pointed at me.
"You and Jay huh?"
I dropped my bag on the desk.
"Yes."
That only made things worse.
Drew gasped loudly.
"BRO ADMITTED IT."
Denzel laughed.
"Man didn't even try to deny."
Jay walked to her seat calmly.
"You people are so dramatic."
Then Mayo grinned.
"So Keif…"
I already didn't like where this was going.
"Yes."
"Is it true you two were caught in the living room?"
The entire class exploded.
Jay buried her face in her hands.
Ci n wheezed.
"BRO THEY WERE—"
"CI N."
He immediately shut up.
But Kit wasn't done.
"So when's the wedding?"
Jay threw a notebook at him.
"SHUT UP."
The teasing didn't stop.
It only got worse.
During math class, Rory leaned across the desk.
"Keif, how long have you been hiding this?"
"Not long."
Across the room Erdix whispered loudly,
"They were definitely hiding it."
Then David added,
"I bet Percy almost died when he found out."
Ci n laughed again.
"He actually did."
Jay kicked his chair.
"Stop talking."
But the teasing continued.
Every subject.
Every class.
Every minute.
By the time lunch break finally arrived, I dropped my head on the desk.
"I regret everything."
Jay looked over at me.
"This is your fault."
"How?"
"You said 'too late' yesterday."
Ci n leaned between us.
"Worth it though."
I pointed at him.
"You started this."
Eren walked past our desks and smirked.
"Don't worry bro."
Josh added,
"We'll only tease you for the rest of the year."
Jay groaned loudly.
"I'm transferring schools."
Felix laughed.
"Too late."
The bell rang for lunch.
Everyone stood up still laughing and teasing.
I looked at Jay.
"Well."
She sighed.
"Next time we hide better."
I smirked.
"Deal."

The teasing was definitely not over.
