Wolfe watched Jack's joyful expression as he went back to work, and his face immediately changed.
Anyone with a brain cell who knew of Jack's animosity could tell that Jack was up to no good.
The smile was too wide and his steps were too light for someone that seemingly couldn't get his supposed revenge.
Something was wrong.
Wolfe began making calculations in his head, trying to decide the best move for him.
It did not take long to reach his conclusion.
Ratting out Jack in hopes of getting a reward.
Even if he got nothing, getting into the good books of his employers was more than good.
If he got into their good books, he could only imagine the benefits even if they were not immediate.
He glanced around, making sure no one in the group knew what he was doing.
He wanted to report Jack, but he did not want the fact that he snitched to be known by more people than necessary.
He didn't want a bad reputation as a snitch... It would terribly affect his future endeavours.
