Claire's POV
The mall buzzed softly around us. The familiar smell that came with the air conditioning wafting around us.
The buzz of the trending pop song in the speakers is folding around us. We walked side by side, but for a while, I barely heard any of it.
My mind kept drifting back to the kiss. My fingers brushed against my lips unconsciously, and warmth crept up my neck all over again.
Beside me, Abby snickered. The sound jolted me back from the high of the kiss and I flustered under the heat of her gaze.
I glanced at her, only to find Sasha watching me too, her eyes sharp with amusement as we made our way down the polished mall floors.
"What?" I asked, frowning. "Is there something on my face?" I decided to feign ignorance.
"Yes, there is," Abby said suddenly, her expression turning serious.
Oh, there was.
Confused, I immediately brushed my hand over my cheeks. "Where? Uh—"
