Chapter 3: King Progenitor
After clicking on (SELECT) I was redirected to the details of my skills and 'Sub-skills'.
"Let's look at [King Progenitor] first."
[King Progenitor: Sub-skills]
[As a new lord and future king you need good servants and great leaders under you for every specialized workforce]

[Incoming Tax: None]
[Current Projects: None]
[Overall Happiness: NULL]
[Skills: Analyze, Management, Skill Allocation]
...
I was definitely surprised but mostly disappointed.
None of this actually seems that useful. When I looked down though I noticed the Sub-skills, let's hope they are a little more useful.
[Analyze: Can check the status board of others as well as their loyalty]
[Management: Allocate others to their designated duties {Warning: Incompatible skillset can lead to decrease in loyalty.}]
[Skill Allocation: Pillage and steal skills from slain enemies and grant them to others {Note: Can not be used for yourself}]
"Holy shit!"
These skills were crazy valuable. [Management] was probably the most useless of the three, but I could still see the value in it.
Out of curiosity I looked over at my Head Guard, the rude one who called me a bastard and checked on his loyalty.
[Billiard Snow: Loyalty 7]
[Level 15]
[Skills: Swordsmanship lvl 4, Survival lvl 2, Steady Hands lvl 1]
'This bitch.'
What do you mean your loyalty is 7? Are you secretly a bandit?
I looked at my other guards and surprisingly most of them had a loyalty range of 20-30.
I tapped my chin a few times in curiosity.
'Oh, is that why?'
Because he thinks I'm a fellow peasant?
So I called my co-captain to confirm my thoughts, "Roger, come here for a second."
Roger of course had a loyalty level of 30, but as soon as I called his name it went up to 32. An easy fellow aren't you?
"Yes my lord."
I looked at his skillset and his [Survival] skill was actually higher than mine.
That was a good hint of the situation.
"You grew up in the slums, correct?"
He stiffened up a little and I saw my Head Guard smirk and his loyalty level even went up a point. Too bad for him I don't care for the loyalty of trash.
"There is nothing to be ashamed of? Your ability to survive in such an environment has allowed you to grow strong enough to become a Co-Captain. You should be proud of how far you have come."
[Billiard Snow: Loyalty 3]
[Roger: Loyalty 50]
"Thank you my lord! I will try my hardest to live up to your expectations"
A whole 18 points just from a compliment? He really is easy.
I looked over at Billiard in silent contemplation. The man just sat on his horse in silence but I could tell he was holding back from saying something he should not.
'Maybe you should just say what's on your mind. It'll make things go so much quicker for the both of us.'
He seemed to notice my gaze but still chose not to say anything.
I just sighed and shrugged.
Time to test out [Management].
'Allocate Billiard Snow to the Sustenance Division.'
[CONFIRMED]
[The Sustenance Division: 1]
{Lvl 1}
I looked over in curiosity wondering what would happen and sure enough the man reacted.
SIGH
"My Lord, I am going out on a hunt for supplies."
I just continued looking at him in silent curiosity until I shrugged and spoke up, "We'll join you."
I gestured towards a few others. Particularly the most loyal ones and stepped out of my carriage.
Seraphina was obviously confused and tried to stop me.
"Sir, we are on a tight schedule. If the enemy kingdom finds out we plan on setting up a fortress they will attack as soon as they get the chance."
She's not wrong.
In fact they're likely arming a small army right now to wipe us out. Of course I just waved it off.
I was far too curious about my new skills after all.
"It's fine, we'll follow you from a distance. We're just going out to increase our camaraderie. What better way than to hunt a boar or a bear?"
Seraphina's face just went pale, "Please don't antagonize any bears!"
I just chuckled before hopping on Billiard's horse.
"You don't mind me being the Backseat Bitch do you?"
Everyone around me looked in shock and horror.
"Sir, don't say that!" Seraphina screeched!
"Hahaha, right right. The path of a lord is through dignity and pride," I just laughed it off, "Regardless, I'll be traveling with you Billy."
Billiard looked behind his shoulder and scoffed under his breath before kicking his horse to get it to move.
'Somebody is angry… hehe.'
The rest followed after us in silence.
....
An hour goes by and Billiard had tracked down another decent sized deer and prepared his shot.
I just watched in silence as I noticed his arm grow weaker. He struggled to pull the arrow all the way back.
Normally he would stop by now but I had insisted we keep going.
After landing his shot and taking down the deer he mumbled under his breath loud enough for me to hear.
"Maybe you or someone else should try hunting instead?"
I just hummed like I was contemplating the situation before replying back in a low whisper.
"You don't want your men thinking you're a weak bitch do you? Then again, I guess that will be your only way of showing others you're my equal…" I chuckled in a low enough tone that only he could hear.
{EMERGENCY! SUBJECT IS AT 0 POINTS IN LOYALTY!}
Just as I looked at my notification I felt something pushing me off my horse!
BAM
I was thrown off the horse by Billiard!
'Hahaha! Perfect! Finally!'
Just as I looked over at Billiard I saw his horse come stomping my way!
I tried moving out the way but the horse's hoof had smashed into my hand at the last second!
I grunted a little but once he got off my hand I grabbed my dagger with my free hand and stabbed it into the horse's neck.
The damn creature bit me everytime I tried to pet it.
[Congratulations! You have gained the title: Enemy Of Horses]
Before I could comment on that I saw the horse fall over and catch Billiard's leg under him.
"""My lord!"""
My people came rushing in and one grabbed Billiard's sword before he could do anything.
I just watched him struggle and curse on the ground then looked at my hand.
Sure enough, it was healing pretty quickly.
[Ultimate Skill: Immortal]
[Cannot die]
When I first saw that I grew a little happy, but the more I looked at Billiard being crushed under the weight of his horse I knew it wasn't much of a blessing.
'What if my whole body was crushed under the weight of a mountain? Or worse?'
Before he could contemplate on the possibilities he looked over at Billiard who was holding onto his leg and looking up at me in silent acceptance.
So I sat down next to a boulder and asked him the ultimate question.
"How long have you been working for my brother?"
