Chapter 12 - World Of My Creation

Chapter 12: World Of My Creation

*Author's note: Spoilers warning. I do not personally like or support OP characters. Even Thomas's plot armor can be explained through his skill and even that will occasionally screw him over. So for anyone complaining about these Ultimate Skills being too op? I gotchu.

'I want to make my soul strong enough to get [Geas] and [Wall Breaker] immediately!'

.....

The universe heard his cry… and made it happen.

...…

Meanwhile, somewhere in the demon realm, Wyrm sat with a group of godlings in his private world made possible thanks to a skill he had stolen from some japanese guy who just wanted to retire in his own world.

"Can you believe it?! This kid actually said yes! And for just a few skills and for me to spare the life of some book nerd! Get this! He even said I'm not allowed to kill anyone until the day he dies! Hey! Why aren't you laughing? LAUGH!"

"Hahaha! That's a good one, master."

"That's just like you master. Always one step ahead. (As always.)"

Of course these gods were demon gods he had captured, tricked and enslaved over the years. Furthermore they were also the patron gods of a certain goblin empire.

Though to the dismay of the more sane and morally superior high goblins.

These beings were in no way innocent victims.

Each one had a bad habit of terrorizing towns and villages to harness divine energy. Fortunately or unfortunately they were forced to give it all away to their master.

"Anyways, as I was saying- ow my head. Weird… OW… WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! WHO IS DOING THAT!?"

RUMBLE

The ground at their feet had begun to shake, their world was starting to change!

The various godlings were casually looking around in excitement. Not because they knew what was going on, but the opposite.

Being trapped as someone's slave was so dull after all.

"Oh fuck! He stole [Geas] and [Expanded World]?! Why the hell would he take those of all things?! Wait… shit! That fucking librarian! I'm gonna…"

Then it hit him.

"That mother fucker! He set me up!"

Then his face went pale as he slowly turned to the godlings who just found out their contracts were now null and void and more importantly, he couldn't kill a fly thanks to a certain deal with someone.

"Hang on guys. Let's think things through for a moment. After all I have done for you? Delaware, I set you up with Detroit's sister for pete's sake."

"For the last time. That's not our name. Second. His sister is a troll. A literal troll on Holstein! I can't even see her unless she comes to my shrine!"

Wyrm just laughed at that.

'That was pretty funny actually.'

"Still, you found love. And that's all that matters- ah! Get back! Get away! Dammit Dredan! This isn't over! You hear me!? You're dead! Dead!"

His last words before being killed by his former slaves were divine curses engraved in myth and divine power. Whether this would bite Thomas or Dradan in the ass? Only time would tell.

...…..

The world kept shaking for a few minutes until settling down, but by then it was already too late.

Wyrm was dead and his essence was going… somewhere.

Normally it would have been devoured by another god but before they could try and grab it, it had already begun to spread and disappear. Including all of the various skills he once had.

This only gave the other gods one thought.

"You took it!"

"No you!"

"Rahhh!"

Within minutes all the demon gods had miraculously killed each other. Their essence spreading into the surrounding area and transforming the place into a wasteland.

A wasteland full of demonic treasures.

And within that wasteland a single man walked out of a golden portal. Not Thomas, or even Dredan for that matter.

"Ha, my little brother is always outdoing himself. Lemme give this place a little more oomf before everything settles."

After saying, that the mysterious stranger scattered some kind of strange treasure on the ground to help stabilize and improve the area.

Finally, what was once a wasteland was quickly transforming into a planet that had more in common with a paradise filled with treasures of all kinds.

"That's better. This should turn it into a divine skill I think. I might even come here on vacation?" The man said before disappearing through the same golden portal he came through.

Leaving Thomas none the wiser. For now.

...…..

Back on Holstein.

"Fuuuuuuck… was that even worth it?"

[Congratulations! You have gained a Divine Skill!]

"Ok yeah, that was totally worth it."

[Divine Skill: World Of My Creation]

[Sub-skills]

[Soul Expansion] {Your Divine Core is the core of the world and the planet is the flesh of your soul. When space expands that is its way of saying that your soul has grown larger. Thereby increasing your mana capacity. It is advised to get a mage class soon.}

[Terraform] {Can reshape the world.}

[Devour] {Can consume anything. Including worlds or realms. Life in a consumed world may not survive integration. Can consume energy or mana no matter how toxic. Be prepared to send toxic energies to a safe location.}

[Lifeforce Integration] {Inject Lifeforce to make sure the planet always stays healthy.}

[Prison World] {Capture anyone and they can never escape.}

[Teleportation] {Limited to World Of My Creation}

[Speed up Time] {Takes mana or Lifeforce to make happen.}

[Time Stop] {Takes mana or Lifeforce to make happen.}

...…

"Ok, so yeah, that's definitely worth it."

I looked over and saw a confused Dredan looking at me like I had just killed some random fat kids gold fish.

In other words.

He was just confused.

"You're not a very expressive person are you?"

He raised his brow before turning back to his books with a look of contemplation.

"I'll begin moving my things now."

'So you're just going to ignore me huh?'

I just sighed and got ready to leave when I heard a finger snap.

SNAP

When I turned around Dredan was gone, funny enough, so were all of his books.

Hell, as soon I turned around again I was surrounded by a dark cave filled with cobwebs and broken down book shelves.

Even the torches had gone out, leaving me in darkness with barely any natural light to see.

"Dammit Dredan. You could have at least let me know this would happen! I can barely see anything."

{Sorry. I forgot about that. It's been a while since I have been stuck in that damn cave. It's good to get some fresh air for once. It's really nice in here.}

Ugh, I forgot the plan for him was to stay in my mindspace. Not that I mind. Who knows? Having a god hang around could probably do some good.

{Doubtful. This place won't be getting another makeover anytime soon. Strange though. This kind of improvement isn't normal. Even with the death of a few gods. Especially such a dark and malevolent one such as him. Yet it's so… Peaceful.}

I was confused about his remarks but I had other problems to worry about.

"Ow! Damn!"

Like trying not to bump into stuff and falling over on a pile of rusty nails.

"AVA?!" I shouted to make sure Ava was ok when I heard something directly behind me.

"Yes?"

I turned around and all I could see were glowing red eyes in the dark.

"I need a light. Can't you summon fire or something?"

She just sighed for some reason.

"So that didn't scare you in the slightest?"

"No."

"Tch…"
