"Ah, I want some too! Boss, make an extra portion!"
The moment Hatsune heard the word canelé, she remembered the taste of the one she'd had before, and the craving came back.
"All right," Yuto said.
"Eh? Canelé... I'm pretty sure that's a French dessert. Boss, you can make that too?" Tianyi had finished her new bowl of rice.
She wiped her mouth and couldn't help asking.
"Mm."
"Then I want some too, Boss!" Tianyi raised her hand with a smile.
Yuto smiled faintly. He'd guessed she would say that.
"If it's the day after tomorrow, we might need to check our schedule first," Luka said, thinking it over. Idols as well known as they were had to plan their days in advance.
"Aw, Luka, let's just take a few days off. Everyone worked so hard for the concert lately. We're all worn out." Hatsune's face fell for a second, then she put on a bright, pleading smile and tugged at Luka's arm like a spoiled child.
"Yeah, yeah, Luka-nee, let's take a break. We've all been so tired!" Tianyi joined in.
Yanhe was the only one who stayed calm, quietly sipping her water like a hermit with no cares in the world.
Luka rubbed her forehead. "It's one thing for Tianyi to say that, but Hatsune, you help run the company too."
Idols like Tianyi and Yanhe actually belonged to the company that Hatsune and Luka had founded together.
Hatsune had started out as an unknown little idol at another company, but she'd risen fast and become hugely popular across half the world.
After that she set up her own entertainment company—and Luka was the one she'd dragged in to manage it.
"Ehehe, I'm just so used to being spoiled by you, Luka." Hatsune smiled sweetly at her.
Luka sighed. "Since you put it that way, fine. We'll take a break."
Hatsune and Tianyi cheered at once.
Yuto smile while watching their interaction. Luka was a bit like a worn-out mother looking after a pack of children!
"If we're taking a vacation... hmm... we can't really go out and have fun in our own world... Oh! Boss, can we come over to your side to play?" Hatsune was already planning how to spend the break.
Before this, whenever they had time off, they usually just rested inside their villa.
But for lively girls their age, that kind of rest wasn't nearly enough.
There had never been much choice, though.
With their fame, they couldn't really go anywhere—crowds would gather wherever they went, and it all became a hassle.
Now it was different. The restaurant connected their world to Yuto's. In their own world they were famous stars, but in his world they were ordinary people.
That meant they could go out and have fun like any other girls.
When it came to fun, Hatsune's mind worked fast, and the moment the idea struck her she asked Yuto to confirm it.
Yuto went quiet for a moment.
Letting them come play in this world wasn't a problem.
But he had an even better idea.
Tomorrow night happened to be Whitebeard's banquet.
So why not—
Seeing him fall silent, Hatsune assumed her idea had been turned down, and her face began to fall.
But then Yuto spoke.
"If it's fun you're after, there's actually going to be a huge banquet tomorrow night. If you don't mind, you're welcome to come along."
Whitebeard had told him before that the restaurant's customers were welcome too.
The more people came, the happier he'd be.
That was just how Whitebeard was—loving noise and excitement was part of a pirate's nature. Yuto had agreed at the time, but he hadn't mentioned it to anyone yet, so, only a few people knew.
"A banquet? Eh?! What kind of banquet? Can I ask?" Hatsune looked at him with curiosity, and everyone else in the restaurant turned to him as well.
"It's a pirate banquet."
The room broke into surprised voices.
"Pirates?!"
"Kamisaka, why didn't you tell us about this?"
"Yeah, Boss, why didn't you mention it before?"
"Interesting. A pirate banquet. This king is interested!"
"Speaking of which, what are pirates?"
The voices came one after another, loud and tangled. Yuto smiled and pressed a hand down lightly, and the room settled.
"The reason I didn't mention it before is, ahaha... I forgot."
That gave everyone pause, and they all looked a little helpless.
"But it's fine. I remember now, so there's no problem. Tomorrow night I'll put up a notice board about it." He said it with such certainty that no one had anything more to add.
"Hatsune, do you want to come?" Yuto asked her again.
Her eyes were full of the wish to go, but she also looked a little unsure.
"Pirates... are they scary?"
Yuto paused at that.
To be fair, he himself didn't mind Whitebeard's fearsome looks, but any ordinary person who saw him would probably feel afraid first.
"If we're just talking about how he looks, Whitebeard is pretty intimidating. But he's actually a good man." Yuto thought for a moment before answering.
Hatsune puffed out her cheeks and fell into thought.
After a while, she made up her mind. "Okay! I'll go!"
A trip to another world didn't come often, it would be a shame to miss it.
Hatsune wasn't like Tianyi. Tianyi loved to eat; Hatsune loved to play.
Something this new and exciting was hard for her to resist!
"As for safety, as long as you don't wander out of my sight, there shouldn't be any trouble." As long as Yuto wanted to, he could send someone back instantly, so he was fairly confident on that front.
"Don't worry! When the time comes, leave Hatsune-chan's safety to us!"
"Yeah!"
Ainz and Rimuru patted their chests as they spoke—though one had an empty chest, and the other had no chest at all.
"Mm. Then I'm counting on you." Hatsune smiled at them, and the two instantly felt wonderful.
"If we've decided to go, we should prepare properly," Luka said, rubbing her brow.
Going to someone else's banquet empty-handed wasn't her style.
"Woohoo! A pirate banquet!" Tianyi cheered too.
Even Yanhe, calm the whole evening, showed a spark of excitement in her eyes.
Once they'd settled on a time to arrive the next night, Hatsune and the others left.
As the eldest of the group, Luka still had to spend what time was left thinking about what gifts to bring.
And she couldn't forget to have that talk with Tianyi either.
There was no one else to count on. Luka was as busy as ever!
After the idols left, the rest of the restaurant started talking about the banquet, and they all came to the same decision.
They were going!
Even the King of Hero, buried under piles of government work, decided to take leave and attend it.
The only one who couldn't was Shouko since she was still too young.
A concert during the day was one thing, but a pirate banquet at night wasn't something Yuto felt right about.
When she heard she couldn't go, the little girl looked plainly disappointed, and it made Yuto smile helplessly.
"When you're a little older, Shouko, I'll take you. All right?"
"Mm... Then I have to grow up fast!" Shouko clenched her small fists, quietly making up her mind.
"Then you'll need to eat well. Eat properly, and you'll grow up faster." Yuto comforted her with a smile.
Just as he finished, Yaeko arrived.
She didn't have such heavy pressure on her anymore and had stopped working overtime, so she came back much earlier than before.
After thanking Yuto, she took Shouko and left.
Once Shouko was gone, Kanna lost any interest in staying.
She wanted to sleep!
She was still a young dragon, and sleep mattered a great deal to her. She hadn't slept the night before, and she couldn't go another night like that.
Yuto had Tohru take Kanna upstairs and let her pick any empty room.
There were still several free rooms on the second floor, and Tohru had cleaned them during the day.
Kanna chose one at random and lay down. She hadn't had a bath, but dragons could clean themselves—which was honestly something to envy with.
Once Kanna had settled in to rest, Tohru came back downstairs.
Around the same time, Fafnir arrived, wearing his usual blank expression.
His appearance made Ainz and Rimuru cheer, because it meant their three-person gaming squad could charge into battle once more!
