"Orca?" He tilted his head.
"Yes. Know her?" Blaze took a step forward.
Yes! No.. maybe?
He didn't know what to say anymore. It was pretty clear that he was speechless.
"Let's just go. It's almost dawn," Midnight snorted.

What will this pack think of me? He pondered.
"Lost in thought?" Blaze blurted out.
"No." He spoke in a monotone voice.
"Wow. That was the most straight answer I've ever heard of." Midnight chuckled.
These wolves are… fun.
The walk back was oddly quiet. Only the loud sound of claws and paws scraping the dirt or leaves crunching.
"Y'know, I wanted to know why Silver hounded you out." Midnight tilted his head.
"I don't know.." Ash sighed. "They chased me out because I was 'resting' during hunting."
"That's a rule?"
"Yes. Is it supposed to not be?"
"It's not supposed to be. You're- a pack is supposed to rest even during hunting. It's just how our body reacts." Blaze stated.
Maybe Silver was lying about being a leader. What happened to our other leader?
"Hey.. we're here." Midnight broke the silence. Once again.
Ash's eyes glanced at the den site. It was wrecked. Trees had fallen, still getting dealt with, there were multiple burnt areas around the site. And there wasn't many wolves.
"It's not much, but it's the least we could've done." Blaze said, flatly.
Suddenly, a mischievous little pup ran up to them. "Blaze! Midnight! You're back!" It had messy brown fur and bright amber eyes.
"Koda!" Midnight wagged his tail.
Ash tilted his head at the pup. Pups weren't usually this friendly at his old pack.
"Who's this friend you have there?" Koda suddenly stops.
"Well, this is Ash. We may have suspected him of being-" Blaze smoothly interrupted Midnight.
"We don't tell him. That'll scare him off."
"Tell me what?" Ash chimed in.
"You'll know soon."
"Calling for the Moonlight Gathering!" A sudden voice interrupted their conversations.
That voice.. I recognize it…
He looked around.
"Ah yes, that's the term we use for a meeting." Blaze casually interrupted his thoughts.
"Meeting? What's this one about?"
"Koda ranking up to be an apprentice! I'm so proud of him!" Midnight chimed in.
"Apprentice? What's that?" He tilted his head as he followed Midnight.
"How do I explain this… a young pack member.." he trotted over to sit down.
Ash did the same. When he looked up at the leader, she had black fur with white splotches, a silver-white underbelly and dark blue eyes.
Ash's eyes widen. It was her.
