Third Person POV
For the entire trip, Zoke remained quiet. Aside from introducing himself, he just kept stealing glances at Damian as if he was watching and monitoring his every move. Even though they already arrived at their destination, Zoke never spoke to him again.
Damian loosened the knot of his tie and looked away from his window. He didn't like the vibe Zoke gave off and the glances he was throwing at him. He felt like he's being monitored.
He reached for his phone to talk with his grandmother when he saw messages from Sierra. He smiled when he read her message and lost his focus on what he had actually intended to do when he reached his phone.
While Zoke kept eyeing him, Damian lost interest in him, failing to notice that Zoke was already informing the person who was behind his malicious plan from the beginning.
He giggled by himself, pretending not to notice the eyes that had been observing him.
