Sierra POV
I just woke up and sat up in my bed. I stretched my arms, stood up, and walked towards my window. A bright sun smiled at me, brightening my room as I opened my window and pulled the curtain aside.
It's morning, and it's been three days since Damian and I reunited after his issue with Celeste. He hasn't called me, explaining he was working to fix that issue.
I stepped out of my room and saw my mother preparing breakfast.
"Good morning, mom."
I greeted her and sat down on a chair.
"One of the well-known influential families went bankrupt after their daughter was arrested on criminal charges, which caused many legal problems. As the news spread, investors slowly pulled out and brand deals were canceled, so their income dropped rapidly, and they had to sell their assets to pay for the damages."
My attention was drawn to the news on television. As I watched, Damian suddenly popped up on the screen.
