"Join you?"
Kurt Garrison didn't agree right away.
He was a veteran, and in the apocalypse, he would always lend a helping hand to survivors in distress.
But with these people before him, he couldn't help but hesitate.
"Her name is Zoe Morgan,
and Mason Morgan is her dad."
Seeing Kurt Garrison hesitate, the girl shot a look at her companion.
The other girl saw the signal and quickly spoke up.
"Who's Mason Morgan?"
Kurt Garrison frowned.
"You don't even know who Mason Morgan is?"
The girl's expression immediately turned awkward.
"Mason Morgan, the former deputy mayor of City J?"
Chase Gallagher asked as he walked over to check on the situation.
"Yes, yes!
Mason Morgan is my dad. You know my father?"
Zoe Morgan asked excitedly.
"I don't."
Chase Gallagher replied.
"Dude, you even know that?
Leave it to you."
Holden Shaw said as he followed behind him.
After all, Chase Gallagher wasn't even from City J.
And yet he, a City J native, had no idea who Mason Morgan was.
