She was like a mysterious figure. The moment she left, it was as if she had vanished into thin air.
Although the base currently had ample supplies, Henry Dixon had calculated their consumption rate. Based on the speed at which the rescue teams were gathering resources, the base's supplies might not last more than a few years.
The amount of supplies Claire Warner had provided this time was substantial, enough to last the base for several months.
"I'm also doing it for myself."
Claire Warner simply said in response.
Henry Dixon, always thinking of the people, tended to paint her as a larger-than-life hero.
But she wasn't some great saint who expected nothing in return.
"Haha, you're right. Anyone who doesn't look out for themselves is a fool. You have to take good care of yourself out there."
Before Claire Warner left, Henry Dixon couldn't resist adding a word of caution. She didn't look much older than his own daughter.
