"What's wrong?"
Nina Jacobs asked before the group of people could get any closer.
She noticed Trevor's expression was grim, a hint of something suppressed in his eyes...
'Is that hatred?'
'Do they know these people?'
"It was them. They're the ones who lured the horde of zombies here, the ones who made us lose so many people."
Trevor's voice was filled with restraint.
He knew he couldn't be impulsive now.
"Looks like they're not here to make friends."
Leo Hale remarked, eyeing the approaching group.
The group was made up of men and women, and none of them looked easy to deal with. A woman with her hair in a ponytail, who looked to be in her twenties or thirties, walked in the center. Her expression was frigid.
"Where are you from? What are you doing here in Veridia?" the woman demanded as soon as she spoke.
"Shouldn't you introduce yourself before you start asking questions?"
