"Is she really an Intermediate Superpower User?" he wondered. "To be precise, are these people really from the base?"
During the brief moment Leo was distracted, six of the Intermediate Superpower Users he had painstakingly recruited from all over had already been wiped out! Nina Jacobs's Wind and Fire Blades had killed two of them.
"Are you idiots? Attack together! Why should we be the only ones on the front lines?" Leo Keller shouted at the surrounding villagers. "Once we're dead, you'll die too!"
Hearing this, the onlookers finally stopped cowering and charged at the small group trapped in the center. Meanwhile, Leo Langley whispered something to a man behind him. The man nodded in understanding and slipped away amid the chaos.
