(BLUE'S POV)
The word had left my mouth like a fireball thrown into the heart of the world itself.
"KNEEL!"
And the entire battlefield froze mid-motion.
Demons mid-swing, wolves mid-leap, claws inches from throats—everything simply… stopped. The silence that slammed down was louder than any roar. My chest heaved out of habit. Black demon blood dripped slowly from the tips of my claws onto the dirt beneath me.
Drip.
Drip.
Drip.
I stared around in confusion, my pulse thundering.
What the fuck had I just done?
Alpha Dylan was still on his knees, golden eyes blazing with pure, animal fury. His massive frame trembled with rage he couldn't unleash. "What the hell is this?" he snarled, voice low and guttural, like the words were being ripped from his throat. "Why can't I stand? What did you do to me, Blue?"
I snapped out of the stunned haze in half a heartbeat. No time. No fucking time for this.
