(MASON'S POV)
I blinked. I couldn't help feeling stunned by Daniel's earnestness. He had left a note. He had promised to pay them back. This kid had a good heart, even if his methods were a little questionable.
Blue stepped forward, placing a reassuring hand on Daniel's shoulder. "You did the right thing by being honest about it, Daniel. We'll make sure the shop gets reimbursed tomorrow, and then apologize properly. No one will think badly of you."
Daniel's face lit up like a Christmas tree, his crimson eyes shone brightly. "You mean it? You're not mad?"
"Not mad at all," Blue said, his voice gentle. "You helped us when we needed it. That's what matters."
Daniel's voice wobbled. "Thank you, Master Blue. Thank you, Master Mason. I'm so happy to do anything for you. I promise I'll make you proud."
I felt something warm bloom in my chest, and I reached out to squeeze Daniel's hand. "You already have, Daniel. Now—let's get dressed."
