Chapter 16 - Chapter 17 Mayoral Election?

Levi and Norman Osborn stood in front of reporters for over ten minutes before finally entering the company building.

They definitely had enough photos, and Levi also had a statement, so the headlines were secured.

As long as Tony Stark was involved, the traffic would be stable.

So, Levi took Norman Osborn on a tour of the company.

Norman Osborn said he came to cooperate, but Levi didn't know what he wanted to cooperate on.

Anyway, he was confident in his company's products.

Arriving upstairs, Norman Osborn suddenly said, "Levi, I heard Otto works here?"

"Yes."

Levi nodded.

He narrowed his eyes, then remembered that Dr. Otto and Norman Osborn had cooperated before.

"I haven't seen him in a long time; he's an old friend of mine."

Norman Osborn said directly.

Since he was an old friend, Levi could only take him to meet him.

They arrived at Dr. Otto's laboratory.

Norman Osborn said, "Oh, this is much bigger than his previous lab; Otto seems to be doing well."

The group walked in.

Dr. Otto also saw them.

At this time, Dr. Otto was wearing a lab coat, his head slightly bald, looking a bit dejected.

Norman Osborn, on the other hand, was in a suit and tie, looking like a successful businessman.

If no one said anything, no one would know that both of them were once poor students…

But decades later, the Osborn Group had become a behemoth.

Dr. Otto still only worked in the lab.

Therefore, when Dr. Otto saw Norman Osborn, his expression immediately became complex.

"Norman, is there something you need?"

His tone was very cold.

Norman Osborn said, "Nothing, just came to see you. I didn't expect you to still be unchanged."

These words made Dr. Otto's face turn red with anger; it was as if he was saying he had accomplished nothing.

"That's none of your business. I still have experiments to do."

Dr. Otto said coldly.

He had already created the Brain-computer Interface, but it had not yet been thoroughly tested.

"In that case, Mr. Osborn, let's go to the office."

Levi interrupted Norman Osborn.

After all, Dr. Otto was working for him now, so how could he let Norman Osborn keep mocking him?

He gave Dr. Otto an apologetic look, then led Norman Osborn away.

If he had known the two had such a 'Water and Fire' relationship, Levi would not have brought Norman.

Arriving at the office, 2B took over Gwen's task and brewed coffee for the two of them.

Looking at 2B's strange actions, Norman Osborn asked curiously, "Why doesn't this lady need eyes?"

"Some special circumstances."

Levi said.

He felt he needed to make 2B change a bit, otherwise, anyone could tell she had a problem.

After 2B left, Levi asked, "I wonder what aspects of cooperation Mr. Osborn is referring to?"

When it came to business, Norman Osborn immediately sat up straight, and the smile on his face seemed a bit more sincere.

"I want Mr. Levi to help me."

"Help you with what?"

Levi had originally thought the Osborn Group would bring orders, so he was a bit surprised.

"Run for Mayor."

Norman Osborn rested his elbows on the desk, clasping his hands together as he looked at Levi.

He leaned forward, appearing very imposing.

But this was Levi's home turf, so Levi naturally wasn't afraid and leaned back in his office chair.

"Mayor? Interesting, continue."

Levi became interested.

The mayoral election was indeed approaching; this year was an election year, and both sides were fighting fiercely.

Of course, this had nothing to do with Levi.

Now, this slight connection was because Norman Osborn wanted to run.

Norman Osborn knew what he meant, so he smiled and said, "If I am elected Mayor, at least billions of funds will be allocated to help people with disabilities."

"Also, artificial intelligence is a future trend. If I am elected, the New York government will attach great importance to artificial intelligence and will definitely provide strong support."

Why do those large financial groups always support others in elections?

Because they can suck the blood of America.

Norman Osborn's words were very clear: if he was elected, then Levi, who supported him, would receive policy support, and New York would directly allocate funds.

This single amount would be more than what Future Industries earned through hard work combined.

This is what you call making money!

To make money in America, you have to make money from America!

Levi was naturally tempted. Was this the legendary mutual help?

He would help Norman Osborn get elected, and Norman Osborn would reciprocate.

This was the American way of cooperation!

However, Levi still cautiously asked, "Who are your competitors?"

"There's only one to watch out for."

Speaking of this, Norman Osborn also became serious.

"Who?"

Levi asked.

"Kingpin."

Norman Osborn slowly uttered the name.

This made Levi a little confused: "Isn't he a gangster?"

"But he's gone straight."

Norman Osborn sneered, "Many foolish guys like the so-called 'prodigal son's return,' but they don't know it's all an act."

Many people knew Kingpin was an underworld boss, even the underground emperor of New York.

But as Kingpin continuously whitewashed his image during this period, he transformed into a successful capitalist.

Fisk Tower at 439 West 38th Street was the best proof.

America is such a magical place; let alone gangsters going straight, even people with Alzheimer's and mental illness can become President.

Levi thought for a moment and decided to side with Norman Osborn.

After all, if he had to choose between Kingpin and Norman Osborn, Levi would definitely choose Norman.

"In that case, what do I need to do?"

Levi asked.

"It's simple, just publicly support me more often. You have a lot of fans."

Norman Osborn immediately smiled.

Of course, some financial support was also essential.

After all, political donations are legal, and in America, the simplest way is to 'invest money.'

Levi twitched his lips.

He had always been riding on Tony Stark's popularity, and he didn't expect Norman Osborn to come ride on his now.

In New York, many celebrities didn't have as much popularity as Levi and Tony Stark.

Plus, Levi was also a capitalist, so it was normal for Norman Osborn to seek him out.

In America, one must learn to share; it's unrealistic for one person to earn all the money.

Without the support of others, Norman Osborn could not succeed.

After all, his opponent was not just one person, but a group of people.

"Happy cooperation."

Levi immediately agreed.

He hadn't expected popularity to have such benefits.

But thinking about it, it was normal; didn't that car manufacturer, Saint Ma, also do such things by relying on incredible popularity?

Norman Osborn also stood up, and their hands were clasped tightly together, showing their mutual determination.
