Agnes stepped out of the stall, still feeling irritated.
Her friends had teased her endlessly just because she liked President Evan.

Lost in her thoughts, she didn't even notice the woman standing by the sink.
She walked over and began washing her hands before reaching for a paper towel to dry them.
The irritation inside her made her grip the towel tighter than necessary.
"Easy there."
Karen's voice suddenly broke the silence.
"You might end up hurting your hands."
Agnes looked up, visibly startled.
She hadn't even realized someone else was in the restroom.
She offered a faint, polite smile but said nothing.
After throwing the towel into the bin, she headed toward the door.
Karen's voice stopped her once again.
"You know... it really hurts when you like someone, only to watch them become attracted to someone who doesn't deserve them."
