Before the battle began everyone gathered together in the occult research club room, Rias sitting at her desk, Akeno serving her tea, Kiba fastening his gauntlets and shin guards, Koneko snacking on some tea treats and Blaze stretching to warm up
As the clock reached 5 minutes to midnight Rias stood up, a serious expression on her face "thank you all for helping me with this" she said looking at each individual one by one
"You saved me, it is only right I return the favour as your knight" replied Kiba
"My life got better because of you, I want things to stay like this" muttered Koneko
"I feel like Riser would make me join in with you doing dirty things, and as much as I would love to tease you while doing those things I don't want Riser to be the one who we do it with" joked Akeno, trying to up the mood
"Akeno, that's enough of your jokes" chuckled Rias knowing she wasn't serious before turning to Blaze
"I'm in it to, I don't have any reason as serious as Koneko or Kiba, or be close enough to you to joke around with you like Akeno does, I just want to kick that guys ass for you" Blaze replied making a fist to show her resolve
"That's enough for me" giggled Rias "now let's go win this" she said with determination
"Attention both sides, the rating game will be starting shortly, please make sure that you have everything you need on your person before the teleportation begins, as once the game begins no one will be allowed to leave unless they are eliminated from the match or the match ends" informed Grayfia "I wish both sides luck"
Moments later a magic circle appears on the floor and the air fills with magic
"Here we go I guess" thought Blaze as the magic activates
Moments later everyone reappears in the same room, everything looking the same except of the sky which was a strange color that wouldn't be possible anywhere on the planet
"I will now inform everyone of the rules of this battle as the arbiter of this game as the queen of Sirzech Lucifer" announced Grayfia "the battle will take place at Kuoh academy, with Rias-samas base being the occult research clubs building and Riser-samas base being the student council room in the main building, the pawns of each team must reach those locations if they wish to promote, the match will last for 6 hours, if both teams still have members by the end of the time limit the team that has taken the most of the enemies pieces will be considered the winner, with the rules having been announced, let the battle begin"
The school bell rang out loudly to signal the begining of the battle
"Alright let's break down the plan" stated Rias, unfolding a map of the school "there are 3 main routes leading to and from the main building to here" she explained pointing at the map "through the gymnasium, through the forest and through the sports ground"
"The forest would be a good place to set traps and lauch an ambush" stated Kiba "I should go there"
"The gym would be good for close quarters combat, I would be best located there with Blaze" suggested Koneko
"I agree with you both but I think we can do better" chimed in Blaze
"How so?" asked Rias
"Well from how I acted when we met Riser I think he might not like me" joked Blaze "If we take advantage of that fact we might be able to lure alot of his peerage into a single location and take them out all at once without needing to expend any energy" she said with a smile
"That makes sense" replied Rias with an entertained smile "So what do you suggest" she asked
"If I go straight to the sports field and announce my presence by taunting Riser he is sure to send alot of his fighters after me but hold back his queen so long as he doesn't get to pissed off, so long as we get them into one place either you or Akeno could take them out with your powers in one fell swoop, this will allow Kiba and Koneko to retain their fighting power to go against some of Riser's more powerful peerage members such as his knights and rooks" Blaze explained to Rias
"Your plan does have merit, but it is dangerous for you to do such a thing, are you confident" she inquired
"I can outrun Kiba can't I, and even if I get hit once or twice I'm quite tough aren't I, Akeno proved this during the training didn't she" Blaze sighed
"Ah yes, you took my lightning so well, I could hit you with bolt after bolt and you'd still be able to take more" sighed Akeno, a sadistic smile forming on her face as she blushed at the memory
"Plus I have my special technique" said Blaze with confidence
"We'll follow your plan then, lure them to the gymnasium, then Akeno will destroy it all in one bolt, try to keep 'that' for when we need it" Rias said as everyone agreed, knowing how powerful but dangerous it was to Blaze "go, but be careful" she said caringly
"I'm always careful" Blaze replied
"Yeah because coming up with that is careful" Herm chimed in
"Fine" she replied to Herm, looking at all of the faces that didn't believe her "just be ready, and Akeno, try to hold back the urge to electrocute me when you take them out" Blaze joked
"But I enjoy it so much" Akeno teased before putting on a serious face "but this is not the time for it so I'll hold back"
"Then my adorable servants, let's win this and show that as Blaze said, Riser is compensating for something and that I'm not going to be another girl to show off with" she said with a confident and teasing grin"
"Right" said everyone with sychronised will.
