"You, you're Azazel's little pet that he's be- ARGH" Kokabiel stated, confident in his words until the exact moment that Valikicked him into the ground, ripping off two of his wings in the process
"Kepp squawking like a crow and I'll rip off some more" Vali claimed with a bored tone as he discarded the wings as if they were trash, obviously having expected more from someone of Azazel's level
"HOW DARE YOU TREAT ME LIKE THIS, I AM AT THE LEVEL OF GOD AND THE MAOU'S AND UNLIKE THEM I AM STILL ALIVE, THAT MAKES ME EVEN MORE POWERFUL THAN ALL OF THEM" Kokabiel roared creating volley's of spears of light and launching them at Vali
Casually dodging each of the spears with little effort and not even bothering to increase the speed at which he stole Kokabiel's power and just letting it happen every 10 second Vali sighed in resignation "this battle would actually be interesting if that was the case, but it seems that you are only on their level in terms of position and bragging power, in terms of actual strength though" Vali sighed "haaaaa, why did Azazel send me to deal with this, it's not worth my time" he complained
"DO NOT MOCK ME, I HAVE THE POWER TO KILL THE MAOU AND GOD IF THEY WERE STILL ALIVE" Kokabiel expressed with a almost crazy look in his eyes
"Sure you could have old man, sure you could" Vali replied, treating Kokabiel as if he was delusional
"STOP MOCKING ME" Kokabiel shouted, charging at Vali and striking his armor as hard as he could, unfortunately by this point in the fight to much time had already gone by and the force of Kokabiel strike wasn't even enough to do any damage to Vali's armor and instead caused him to injure himself causing him to scream in pain
"Let's just get this over with" Vali sighed, grabbing Kokabiel by the throat "any last complaints before I drive you into the ground hard enough that you will finally stop talking?" he asked as he flew upwards before reversing his direction once he was high enough to reach terminal velocity on the way back down
"AAAZZZAAAAZZZZEEEELLLLL!" Kokabiel screamed as Vali slammed him into the ground hard enough to turn the running track into a crater
Dropping Kokabiel onto the ground like a sack of potatoes Vali looked around at the people who were still around "before you ask, yes, God is dead, you'll probably be given more details by your superiors as a later date" he said, mainly focusing on Xenovia who slumped onto the ground hearing his words "now that I've answered your question I have one of my own, what is that power of yours? Azazel has taught me about sacred gears for years and I've never been told about any type of sacred gear that could do what yours does" Vali asked Blaze
"You've never heard of it before because I'm the first one to have it, as for more details, I can't be arsed to tell you all of that at the moment and I get the feeling that we'll meet again at some point so I might tell you then" Blaze explained, still sitting on the ground due to exhaustion and not even trying to put on any airs
"A new sacred gear huh" Vali responded "Azazel will be happy to hear that news, and I'm happy that it feels like a strong one" he smiled
"Don't you have a rival you should be searching for or get to taking back Kokabiel" Blaze asked not wanting to have to deal with Vali getting to interested in her
Vali merely smiled in a knowing manner as he picked Kokabiel off of the ground "we will meet again" he stated as he took off into the sky "get stronger, I like to fight people on my level, not posers like this guy" hoisting Kokabiel onto his shoulder with little care for the unconscious fallen angels state
Watching Vali fly off Blaze looked around and asked "everyone ok?"
"Shaken up but physically fine" Xenovia responded
Akeno merely nodded, still annoyed by Kokabiel mentioning her father and having revealed it to Xenovia and Blaze without her consent
"Better than before the fight" Kiba claimed with a refreshed smile, a weight seeming to have been lifted from his shoulders but a small tremble still evident in his voice at the fact that he used to worship god
"All good thanks to you" muttered Koneko
"I'm fine, just trying to comprehend everything that has gone on within these last few hours" answered Rias
"If everyone's good then I'm going to have a nap, peace" Blaze stated before passing out from exhaustion due to no longer needing to stay awake any longer
After that Sona and her peerage came inside to see what had happened with Rias filling them in as Blaze just lay on the ground sleeping without a care in the world.
